I imagine it cost a lot less than Portsmouth have cost the tax payer!

No one who paid for the banner lost their job...so yes, not as foolish.

It's all arguing about how many angels are on the head of a pin. All these so-called jokes are pathetic attempts at winding people up, in the almost certain knowledge someone will take it the wrong way.

I would suggest the various perpetrators go and get their kicks elsewhere. Try jumping out of a plane without a parachute, for example. I'm sure that would be the thrill of a lifetime.

But I'm not embarrassed because I didn't do it...people take things too seriously.

Collective embarrassment though is a a common phenomena. For example, I'm not racist, but I'm still embarrassed to be of the same nationality as Nick Griffin.

I'll tell you what's really embarrassing; the Portsmouth News acknowledging this stunt.

It's all embarrassing - the banner, the people who think it is funny, the silly YouTube videos, PL thinking there's such a thing as a good Robbie Williams song - all of it.

It's embarrassing that people find this embarrassing. But, people will probably think that it is embarrassing that I find it embarrassing that people find it embarrassing. It's all embarrassing to somebody. But, quite frankly, who cares. It is a few people having a laugh. End of story.

I thought it was quite amusing. At least some Southampton fans still care enough to spend money remembering us.

There was a plane flying a big Portsmouth badge behind it, over the city a few years ago, so it's all good fun. No-one owns the sky.

The aircraft was a Cessna F172N G-BEUX owned by a Kent firm ZENTELLIGENCE LTD. It was operating out of Lee On The Solent airfield on this occasion.

Was very good of the company in question (Airads) to take some pictures of a full Fratton Park on the way over. Many thanks to the Saints fan(s) who made this possible by paying for the flight as it makes a great publicity shot.

Was this the Bristol Rovers match..? Just looked up the crowd - 17,998. Hat's off. Yes, it is an Easter weekend, but take nothing away, that's impressive for League Two.

We'll count the two blokes in the plane, 18,000.

Well it is worth if just to get some skates back on our board; I was really worried that they had passed away or fallen out of love with football.

Great to see you guys and know you are ok :)
