Correct me if i'm wrong but isnt our official playing name HULL CITY and not HULL CITY A.F.C.? now considering assad has changed the company name does that mean we've lost the A.F.C. until he ****s off? If so then the rumours about next seasons logo are almost certainly true.
Nothing has changed with regard the name. The AFC is still there - its up to individual whether or not they use it. The fact that it is likely to not feature on the badge next year is irrelevant. Not all club crests carry their name - Norwich's doesn't.
The company name means nothing at all, for example some clubs have holding company names like CPFC1904 Ltd, just to make an example. Some aren't even related, like the holding company being West Ham being called CB Holdings last decade. Allam was trying to be deliberately confusing when he claimed the AFC was gone when he changed the holding name last year, in his typical style. When asked who I support I always reply HULL CITY. / CITY. or THE TIGERS in nearly 50 years I have NEVER replied HULL CITY AFC could not give a beep about the AFC bit.
