    • Fryatt made some good runs in behind when he came on. Ashame he ended up stranded as one up top.
    • John Moss won't be refereeing the final.
    • Arsenal may see us as a walkover for the final and underestimate us completely.
    • We've never lost at Wembley and they've never won at the new Wembley
    • Nobody was hurt by the signs blowing in from the West Stand :p
    • Plenty of good runs made by the full backs on both sides.
    • The crossing wasn't too bad either
    • Arsenal may finish 4th, sending us into Europe
    • It stayed at 3, could have been more.

    Other points (not so positive)
We looked incredibly tired second half, we couldn't get anywhere near them (too much partying Sunday/Monday?). Harper's kicking is getting worse, it nearly always goes into the stands. Boyd spent more time behind Rosenior, than in front on the left wing. Every stray ball in midfield seemed to go to them and they kept winning the ball in 50-50 tackles. Have to kind of admire them second half; they really got into their rhythm.

We've played far worse and still picked up points this season. Today we just came up against a good team on song who took their chances.

    • Well it's not so hard when you're 2-0 and then 3-0 up, and we aren't the most prolific goalscorers as everyone knows. Unfortunately football games can sometimes be pretty much over by half time.

We played well in the first half. If Long or Jelavic had got on the end of some the crosses into the box, or Livermore's effort had hit the post and gone in, it might have been a different story.

I won't waste my time complaining about the ref.

Arsenal won it pretty comfortably in the end. The 3rd just killed as a contest, and then it become a bit flat.

There's still work to be done, and bigger matches than Arsenal.

The minutes slence for City legend Jock Dividson was a respectful minutes silence not a minutes applause.

The clapping seals were itching to clap though, so they just decided to drown out that bed warmer while he was trying to tell us all about his achievements.

Glad the silence held, not heard a minutes silence for years. It seemed surreal.

After Deano and Giovanni came on the pitch at half time I really expected Phil to come out with the microphone and give us a song. Just read Ashbee's tweet that Giovanni wants to play for us again !!

I half expected Brucie to pull one of his jokes in his post-match comments by saying "To Jon Moss, I say well done".

Wigan managed to bully Arsenal in their FA Cup Semi. We'll have to do the same if we're going to do anything decent in the final, other than turn up and get rolled over.

Only positive about today was that Norwich lost, and look doomed.

If we play 5 in midfield in the FA Cup Final I can't see us creating many chances if Fryatt is the lone striker. We really only have Long who can play effectively as a lone striker.

Talk today on Humberside of outside chances of Brady and McGregor being in contention for Wembley.

Brady can create chances but I think it would be too soon for a return in such an important game.
McGregor is needed because Harper didn't seem to make a lot of effort with the goals. McGregor seems to be better at miracle saves.

Hull City move a step closure to the Europe League. Arsenal's last 3 games are Newcastle - West Brom @ home and Norwich away on the final day. 9 points and Everton stay 5th.

We have played alot worse this season and won. Arsenal gave us a lesson in finishing in the end.

Play the same way next week @ Fulham and we shall get the win to confirm us as being safe.

The only or maybe main difference between top and bottom of the league is the quality of your strikers, that's why Liverpool are top and Sunderland have Altidore

    Just seen the MOTD highlights.

Have to say, I think Arsenal could have had a couple of penalties and I don't think the Jelavic "foul" was one. Would have been a very soft freekick and you'd probably be annoyed if it happened the other way around.

Lovely to see a minutes silence perfectly observed though.

Have to say, Arsenal's second was a phenomenal goal. Can't really defend against that.

MOTD didn't show or even mention how well Livermore and Huddlestone played in midfield.
The second goal killed the game and it may not have been a foul when shown in slow motion but a the time everyone in the ground except the ref thought it was.
Ozil cost more then our stadium.
Besides that we were well beaten in the end.
    No complaints.
