Agree with that Lone. But there are 19 other clubs who have the "money and allure of the Premiership". It's not been said yet and I know JDG has his critics here. He has previously fallen out with a manager who persisted in playing him on the wing. He's not happy there and is less effective. That's just one example. Too many downright weird decisions for me. The freezing out of players like Canas and Pozuelo who may actually have something to give and help us over the line is another one.
And yet only two games ago ALL of you were saying it was a master stroke playing him on the wing. Great stuff lads.
We lost the midfield battle for the majority of the game. Shelvey had a mare and should have been replaced. He did nothing about it.
And yet we had better possession and passing from all of our players compared to Newcastle. This is a great thread, better than the comedy on the BBC right now. This should be on TV Guide for others to know.
Letting OPTA do their thinking for them instead of their own eyes and brain is an increasingly common trait amongst football fans. You'll be putting up heat maps next.
? You can disagree with views and I understand why you would. But why is it "bollocks" just because you disagree Project?
Oh dear. The only trait here is wanting Monk to fail, thus wanting the team to fail. Sorry times. Like I said a couple of days ago, the problems at the club are dwarfed by the problems on this forum.
It is not just me disagreeing. We weren't bossed by Newcastle, Canas and Poz have had few good games for us, Monk reacted and it actually influenced the result of the game. People are actively seeking out for bad things and will have a distorted view of what happened if need be.
Yes. Not wanting the club to appoint Monk is exactly the same as wanting the team to fail. There was me thinking the whole reason behind not appointing Monk permanently is because we don't want the team to fail. Good job you're here to tell us what to think.
Irrelevant point LR. Invalid actually. Monk has already been appointed and you are now ignoring anything good and exaggerating the bad, that is the bad thing about the Monk hating bandwagon. And I am not here to tell you what to think, just here to make fun of what you think when it is biased.
Misguided view imo .Everyone wants the club to do well therefore it follows they want the manager to be successful as well .
Don't see it sorry. I only see people wanting Monk out and for that to happen he has to fail. They will be distraught if he wins the last three games and thus has the best win record since we were promoted.
Funniest thing I've read. I've encountered quite a few people on forums and I've rarely found any that actually want their team to fail. I'm not a Monk fan but would be chuffed if we won the last three games. That doesn't mean he's the right man for next season. Just my opinion.
I want the club to be successful. If that means certain people succeed as well then fine. If that means certain people get left behind then that's fine too. Garry Monk has been a fine servant to SCFC. He's done a difficult job this season and survival is about the most we could have hoped for. I still don't want to see him get the job, even if he wins the remaining three games. It's not personal. It's just not the right move for the club.
Then why the overbearing need for Monk to fail and not get the job next season even for 12 games? For if he succeeds he doesn't need big names signings... he will have succeeded without them. Too many people have priorities wrong.
