Now maybe it's just me, but was it convenient that we lose today's game and win next week's game instead? :emoticon-0105-wink:

I absolutely despise the Gooners, they're everything that is wrong with English football, really hoped we could have got something against them but aside from a few half-chances in the first 25 minutes or so, we never looked like getting owt. And I'm happy they got 3 points if it means they get fourth. Aside from that **** 'em.

2 big matches ahead, I expect we can manage 4 points and spend the last two matches tinkering with our FA Cup final XI.

The beautiful irony of you potentially saving us given the bullshit between some of our fans on here all year!

    3-0 next week lads <ok>

Yes, the deception for the cup final has been accomplished. Lure them into a false sense of security.

Arsenal won't know what's hit them when we line up with Fryatt & Sagbo up top.

Bloody hell lads you always know that City very rarely do things the easy way. It would not surprise me if we go into the final day of the season needing a point to ensure we stay up and getting it by the skin of our teeth. Plus of course we could be lulling Wenger into a false sense of security and batter them in the Cup Final:laugh:

Rather have the Mackems stay up. Closer away day, decent following.

That's just me probably. Some might be sick of Smugs & Baz talking ****e.

It's good for us, cos you may well have been coasting next week.

They should be playing for cup final shirts anyway, but now they are still playing for Premier League football as well.

Maybe I was too subtle? By "helping" Arsenal get into the Champions league we will qualify for the Europa League.

Three more points will give us mathematical safety very soon, probably after next weekend matches. It is better we get the 3 points against Fulham rather than Arsenal. Three points against Fulham would mean they cannot catch us, and a draw between Sunderland and Cardiff, coupled with a defeat for Norwich means we are safe :)

Arsenal are fantastic. Maybe they don't have the power of Liverpool and Everton but their players are comfortable on the ball and pass the ball around well.

I thought we played pretty well today. Pity we couldn't convert any of our chances. I thought Huddlestone played well. We should sign Jake even if it costs us £6m.

I agree with all this, though the ref did favour them and not us.
