Looking very, very leggy. Pace and control seems to be lacking, not closing down at all. With Sturridge out we need him in for these last few games, thank **** we have players who can now step their game up (Sterling, Coutinho etc).

Also, he's a ****ing brilliant player, but he is a complete ****er. He made me cringe when he went down in "agony", then saw we had the ball and jumped right back up. Why do it? Just get your head down and make the most of your talent you tosser.

    3 points <diva> <3 You Suarez.

He stopped and struggled again after that attack though. I think he does genuinely get hurt sometimes but plays on rather than moan about it, because that's the kind of guy he is. He'd try to play on through injury.

i dont like it but he gets NO protection from refs when he is hacked to ****. he did struggle afterwards for a bit as well, player should have been booked.

also i do agree on the leggy bit, but like the rest of the team, adrenaline will hopefully pull them all through.

Because if he doesn't make it obvious he was hit (which he was) then the refs give nothing anyway #nosympathy

He had a great move and shot that was just wide, but we can't expect Norwich to let him score hat tricks in EVERY game, at some point self-respect kicks in <ok>

maybe hid did it to emphasise to the **** ref what a bad challenge it was. refs very often will not penalise bad challenges unless the person goes down. besides that maybe it did hurt but was prepared to fight on through it when there was something worth chasing.

At least he didn't throw himself down for a second time and start crying though <ok>

That challenge was a possible red card. It was high and late.

I'm not saying it wasn't a bad challenge, but it was a quick jump from pain to full on sprint. Besides, like I said, this is ****ing Luis Suarez we're talking about! He's the most brilliant yet totally frustrating footballer we've ever had.

Did we see the same match? Suarez had to run the length of the field more than a few times as Sterling, Johnson, Allen, Lucas and Sakho gave the ball away more than a few times, which created situations that were a right mess.

He put in a big shift and was omnipresent - trying to shore up our shaken team interlaced with spurts up the field when chances came.

Agger & Skretl to start vs Chelsea please!

That's how much he wants to win, that hurt, yet he still got up, I'd rather he got back up too, he did the right thing even though he got clocked. At first I thought oh you ****, but after the replay, I got no issue with it

i agree actually as i can see Torres playing for some reason and he would probably have a field day against Sakho, maybe mind games from mourinho as well in prove your worth to them fans type thing.

but agger has the better of him so far

For once we agree. Suarez is very childlike in his approach to football. He's fouled and he's hurt so he's going to let you know that. But the ball come his way and he's going to be up and running for it - even if it is only on one leg. That's just the way he is. I truly don't think he's seeking any kind of advantage from the Ref.

Maybe I'm just over reacting then! Even so, as mentioned in the OP still love the fella.

It looked bad but from what we've seen of him I think it genuinely hurt him but his will to win meant he wanted to get back up when there was a chance to score for the team.

On that point how did Allen **** that pass up!! Did think he was brilliant today both going forward and defensively, especially in the first half. Very good all round midfield performance.
