Best Driver: Fernando Alonso - Drags that heap onto the podium in a way only he could do Worst Driver: Kimi Raikkonen - Either make an effort, or bugger off. Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Daniil Kvyat - Another Red Bull gem by the looks of it. Best Team: Red Bull, Mercedes don't count. Worst Team: Mercedes for ruining F1 Best Overtake: Ricciardo on Vettel, way to signal intent Funniest-moment: Kamui overtaking a Red Bull Most Surprising Result: Alonso on the podium in a dogshit car Least Surprising Result: Mercedes 1-2. they could start at the back of the grid and still finish 1-2 Special Mention to: Daniel Ricciardo, Nico Hulkenberg, Valtteri Bottas Race Rating: 0.5/10 Best Commentator/Presenter: Hubert Buchtplugge
I think they should do that just to see how long it would take for them to reach the front. I'd go for before half distance
They wouldn't want to risk giving away just how much speed is in that car. I still think there's more than they achieved in Bahrain, where they were 2.5 seconds a lap quicker, but were fighting each other, which immediately slows them down quite a bit.
Rosberg was doing 1-1.5 a lap on Alonso and Vettel with no telemetry and rubber in the front wing and the Ferrari is about equal to the Red Bull on race pace. So full maximum over the field.... 1.8-2.2 a lap seems reasonable over the rest in my opinion.
Best Driver: Fernando Worst Driver: Marcus Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Daniil Best Team: Mercedes Worst Team: McLaren Best Overtake: Erm, if Fernando and Felipe's start count... Funniest-moment: Seb on radio Most Surprising Result: Fernando Least Surprising Result: Mercedes Special Mention to: Daniel Race Rating: 5/10

You know who you are Crofy!
Best Driver: Alonso Worst Driver: Rosberg (?) messed up at least twice, then had to wait for the undercut to get passed the slower Alonso. Can't really remember anyopne being really bad in the race. Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Kvyat Best Team: Mercedes Worst Team: Hmm, McLaren in general, or Williams for Massa? Best Overtake: Button on Vergne I think it was (through turn 1/2) Funniest-moment: Felipe getting the chance to moan about Fernando Most Surprising Result: McLaren the only Merc team out of the points, shocking. Best Driver: Fernando Alonso- a storming podium in a car that needs some work. Having said that, the Ferrari has made strides on front-limited circuits this year and will continue to do so under the guidance of James Allison. Worst Driver: Kimi Raikkonen Best Rookie: Kyvat maybe on the day, but all can do better on tracks that suit their respective cars. Best Team: Mercedes Worst Team: McLaren. What a woeful car they have on any circuits which test the aero and downforce. Malysia and China have yielded awful performances. Back to the drawing board for them. Best Overtake: Jenson Buttons move (can't remember who on) around the outside. A rare glimpse of JBs racing brain which he couldn't use without downforce all weekend. Funniest-moment: Vettels multiple moments-Kobiashi overtaking him and then Sebs brilliant response to team orders (for which I applaud him- well done) Most Surprising Result: Fernando Alonso podium. Least Surprising Result: Mercedes dominating. Special Mention to: David Croft, for being a complete and utter knob. Race Rating: 1/10 -China rarely throws up a good race and the action meanders into nothing. Similar to Malaysias circuit. Best Commentator/Presenter- I'm not sure you can give one. I think Sky are becoming embarassing to be quite frank. But then again- they have absolutely nothing to talk about when the racing is as poor as it is. F1 has serious issues. It needs to consider whether DRS is something that adds to the spectacle or removes skill. It's just a procession that bases itself around strategy and tyre saving. There is no attacking approach.
Best Driver: Alonso Worst Driver: Kimi - Given what Alonso was able to achieve with the same car that is. Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Kvyat Best Team: Mercedes Worst Team: McLaren - considering they were declaring them selves the 2nd fastest team on the grid just a few weeks ago? Pathetic performance. Best Overtake: Kobayashi on Vettel - Just as it was amusing. Funniest-moment: The race being declared a lap early as the flag man put the checkered flag out too early. Most Surprising Result: That it took Nico something like 14 laps to the end to get into 2nd place. Least Surprising Result: Ultimately that the Merc boys did finish 1 and 2 Special Mention to: Ricciardo - Doing well to beat Vettel Race Rating: 5/10 Best Commentator/Presenter: None
Best Driver: Alonso Worst Driver: Maldonado Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Kvyat Best Team: Mercedes Worst Team: Mclaren Best Overtake: Button on Vergne into turn 2 Funniest-moment: Chequered flag being waved 2 laps early Most Surprising Result: Mclaren score no points Least Surprising Result: Mercedes 1-2 Special Mention to: Grosjean, could have scored a point or 2 but for reliability issues Race Rating: 5/10 Best Commentator/Presenter Bruno Senna is the only one that was decent. Both BBC and Sky need to improve their commentary and presenting team. Suzi Perry is awful, Coulthard is dull, Edwards is like a giddy child, Croft keeps making mistakes and Johnny Herbert is ridiculously bad and has no idea what he's talking about.
Best Driver:Hamilton/Alonso Worst Driver:Raikkonen Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson):? Best Team:Mercedes Worst Team:Williams (pitstop) Best Overtake:Kobayashi on Vettel Funniest-moment:Kobayashi passing Vettel Most Surprising Result:Vettel being dominated by teammate at the end Least Surprising Result:Mercedes pace Special Mention to: Bottas seemingly driving the whole race without using fuel Race Rating: 5/10 Best Commentator/Presenter DC
Best Driver: Alonso - looks like the 2012 Alonso is back, fantastic race Worst Driver: Maldonado - spinning while looking at his steering wheel, crashing into the pit wall for no reason and miles behind in the race. Just dreadful Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Kvyat - I wasnt expecting him to be this good, and at only 19 years old, he will get better. Another impressive race putting the car where it shouldn't be. Best Team: Mercedes - as dominant as the 2000-2004 Ferrari with the best team members and drivers. Hard to see them not winning the constructors title at this rate Worst Team: Mclaren - worse than they'd ever been all last season. That rear suspension appears to be holding them back Best Overtake: Kobayashi on Vettel Funniest-moment: Bottas completing the race without using any fuel Most Surprising Result: Ricciardo over 20 seconds ahead of Vettel Least Surprising Result: Hamilton in top form Special Mention to: Grosjean and Hulkenberg -Grosjean deserved a point for his amazing performance all weekend, and Hulkenberg continues to prove why he deserves a championship winning car. Race Rating: 5/10 Best Commentator/Presenter: Tim Harvey - wasn't even commentating on Formula 1 and he was still better than the lot of them
Best Driver: Alonso Worst Driver: Ericsson Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Kvyat Best Team: Mercedes Worst Team: McLaren Best Overtake: Kobayashi on Vettel (just for the entertainment factor of Vettel almost crying on the radio), if not, Button on Jev. Funniest-moment: See above. Most Surprising Result: Maldonado not crashing in the race at least.... Least Surprising Result: A Lotus breaking down. Special Mention to: Grosjean for a fantastic drive, sadly scuppered by a gearbox failure. Race Rating: 2/10 Best Commentator/Presenter Bruno Senna (i like him in practice, has to deal with Croft which makes his job all the harder)
