It can't just be me who trails through all the sites thinking that today will be the day we have our next new signing.
It all seems very quiet. Sure masses goes on behind the scenes.

    Who will be next?

St Ledger Seems to have gone quiet (For me he looked quite small on Sat AM)
Cresswell keep hearing rumours this is done deal
Pearce Gone quiet from all interested parties.
Nugent/Evans either would be more welcome than Ellington.
Brown - Tough tackler which i am liking but how many minutes will he stay on the pitch.
Coppinger - Like Cresswell is he as close as rumours suggest (This could be one of our better signings of the summer)
And i still beleive there could be a chance with Bullard until we here for definite that he has signed elsewhere.

Plus just for a laugh and for the old romantics

    Gio?????????

JWM sources are very good. Whoever he says will be next will probably be next.

Well i postedthis half hour ago and then they start to come. Ellington in.

Not possibly a first choice of mine but free. Got to better than Scotland and probably cheaper on wages. Adds experience onto the bench.

Looking forward now then to no no 4 Cresswell..... no 5 ...St Ledger ....... no 6 Coppinger?

I guess PJ is happy with Edwards, the only Right Back i've seen him attempt to sign is a youngster on a free from Spurs.

A Pay as you play deal surely must be a plus for both parties. On his day he can be a difference at this level. More at home than away i think.

    I think we will sign:-

    Cresswell

    Pearce

    Coppinger

    Haroun

Adu (just for the benefit of JWM)

Loach or Kirkland (want Loach but feel it will be Kirkland)

    I think we will lose:-

    Fulop

    Scotland

    Priskin

As for CW, can't see anyone forking out between £10 million & £15 Million for him this season. I'm hoping he stays this season, scores loads of goals and doubles his value.

    Happy Days!!

P.S Bloody hot again here today, 40+ degs in the sun!!

Your not making many friends with your weather report. As you know its Wimbledon season here!!!! Say no more. The roof is getting used.

Agree with your signings. I would like St Ledger & Treacy added to that just for experience and variety.

As for the wickham saga is has to be a win-win

Pots of money or an improved talent who i believe will hit 20 in a full season especially with Coppinger and Treacy providing the quality crosses that is too often lacking

If we do sell CW, it would mean we're probably in the market for a 'target man' type striker. However I have no idea who PJ would go for, he seems to have been targetting smaller, goal poacher types of striker before this to partner CW. So I guess we'll just have to pray it goes well for us and he doesnt make a Keane type snap signing.
