.......... with 3 home games against Cardiff, WBA & Swansea.

Who'd have taken that when we had 1 point?

Optimistic there, Smug. Give me 8 points, not 3.

He's not saying we'll need 3 to stop up, just we're 3 points away from 17th, i.e. safety

Three wins and we'll defo stay up, two would probably also do us, four is a distant possibility, although very unlikely!!

Its a pity we can't overtake the mags too whilst we are at it .. now that would be amusing !

There's always a chance if people grit their teeth and believe ........ our support yesterday was excellent even when we were losing.

Losing to Everton didn't relegate us and winning at Chelsea doesn't keep us up.

Cardiff won't be looking forward to a long trip to Sunderland and the crowd have to play their part.

We can stay up but it'll be by the skin our teeth ......... who gives a **** <ok>

Still think we need at least 7 points.
Cardiff have Newcastle after us so there's 3 points for them.
Fulham play Palce last game so there's 3 points for them. The Laanddan connection will ensure that.

We are Sunderland however so I suspect we will still be waiting until the last game of the season. I also expect to beat Man U down there.

That's like saying Sunderland would roll over for Newcastle because of the north east connection - you know that wouldn't happen.

There's no love lost between London clubs, and local rivalry means that Palace have something to play for, which works in our favour.

Once again my mantra is "Its the hope I cannot stand" and here we go again, the players raising our hopes only for them not to turn up against Cardiff.

This game will be harder than Citeh or Chelsea and will be a massive statement of intent by the players...one way or another

I doubt that tbh ............... it won't be easy but you can't say that about City & Chelsea just because we did well.

If only one win was enough. We need three to make sure. Dependant on Fulham who, useless as they are, have winnable games and recently won back to back games which proves they have wins in them.

Our shameful home record and the sheer weight of expectation seem to make any home game harder than an away game for this team regardless of who we play or who we have just beaten away from home......it is just not the other team we need to beat, its our own demons too.

If we can beat Cardiff then I will believe we have a chance of winning our other 2 home games and staying up.

At the moment we have earned ourselves some respect.

I see someone has put up a poster of the Great Escape, well I reckon our team have just found the shovels and now need to start digging.
