Magilton Linked With Watford Job Mon 20th Jun 2011 17:30 Jim Magilton has become the second former Town manager to be linked with the vacant bossâs job at Watford. Magilton, 42, has been out of work since leaving QPR in December 2009. Over the weekend, Roy Keane, whose Suffolk home is up for sale, was claimed to be in the frame for the role vacated by Malky Mackay when he joined Cardiff last week. Meanwhile, Magiltonâs former Portman Road team-mate Tommy Miller has been offered a contract by Blue Square Bet Premier side Gateshead. Miller was released by Sheffield Wednesday at the end of the season. The 32-year-old has previously been mentioned in connection with his former club Hartlepool, while other clubs at League One level are also likely to be interested.
Magilton said: "I would love the Watford job. There is so much talent there. I think that they underperformed last year and what they really need is for someone to go in and knock a few heads together and get them playing as a team. That's what I'm good at."
Mag the Nutter brings a new meaning to "hairdryer" treatment - he hits his players over the head with it. Ever seen a team play with concussion? ...not a pretty sight.
What exactly happened with Magilton and Buzsaky? Apparently they had a fight, then apparently Magilton headbutted Buzsaky, then apparently Magilton denied it, then we suspended him, then he retired. Does anyone actually know the full story?
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing their's, you're obviously out of range of big Jim Magilton!
LOL!! Madge back in football, jokes!! To be fair he did get us playing some lovely stuff during that October. Problem was his man-management was shocking, culminating in a headbutting Buzsaky incident. Lunatic, but good luck to him at WFC.
