    I think we should all now face the facts and the glow has been well and truly extinguished , but I suppose being Newcastle supporters they will continue cling on to hope, at least one can now understand the paranoia of having to meet Sunderland again next season

    We do something that no other team has done. Three points from a game everyone on Tyneside thought we'd get battered in. Mmmmmm....

    If only the magsters could have beaten Swansea for us? Still. Musn't be greedy :)

    I get the laughing at us routine. But what will it take for you guys to get a "warm glow" from something positive that your club does, rather than from ours cocking things up?

    Mid-table is somewhere I'd love to be, but you don't seem to take the cups seriously and your recent results (now safety is assured) have been pretty mediocre.

    Is that all there is? I don't know, but simply waving us goodbye doesn't seem that big a deal after the good start you had...

    Well, that was, admittedly, a bad result last evening for the Glow......however, the mackems are still in the Brown Stuff but probably now up to their navels and not their necks.

    I'd say they now have a 50/50 chance of staying up......or going down.

    Mind, if they are the dismals then Chelsea were very much Dim after their own horror show. They may have had 31 attempts on the mackem goal but they never really looked like getting a second.

    Anyway, onwards and upwards. Cardiff next up for the mackems is a real six-pointer, the mackems now have belief but the pressure on them to win this one next week will be huge.

    If Norwich can scrape a win today that would put even more pressure on them and likewise West Brom on Monday night.

    Long live the Glow <still believing>
