How can such a huge man be so agile... Bony is one of the best in the Premier these days imo .

It proves that players like Shelvey, Routledge, Davies and even Rangel CAN cross the ball. I really don't understand why they don't do it more often. I've lost count of the number of times we've delivered rank crosses today. The first decent one and Bony scores!

Thank heavens for Bony...how high does he get?!

Agree with Bob...thing is De Guzman is probably the better crosser than Dyer, but he keeps going backwards or coming inside, so may as well have Dyer on and see if he flukes a cross ;)

I'm not usually the cynic around here, but I won't be happy until we've overcome second half syndrome.

"Odemwingie draws a foul in the penalty area". Arnautovic scores from the spot for Stoke. I bet Odemwingie will be getting some stick. <laugh>

Given the scores at half time I'd be happy if things stayed as they are

According to match stats, Southampton are all over Villa like a rash. Come on Saints.

I think we'd be pretty safe if the scores stayed like this.

Cardiff would need two wins out of 3 to catch us.
Fulham would need either 2 wins or a win and two draws.
Norwich would need a win or 3 draws.

Two of those would need to overtake us. That would be very unlikely even if we lost last 3.

A win today and we'd be home and dry.

Might finish bottom next season though.

Newcastle are there for the taking - hope that goal has given the boys the belief they need to crack on and win this one - some on here could do with a bit of belief aswell! Bonys goal - superb!!

Every player ever can deliver a good cross given enough chances. Consistency is the key. With our crosses it seems that a quality cross is more in error than skill !

This is the poorest Toon side in a long time. Losing Cabaye was a massive blow for them as was losing Remy to injury, but a word of caution. Remy is clearly not fit but is playing now. He's dangerous.
