Hold on to your hats, it's match day again. Hoovers at the ready to pick up all those bitten-off finger-nails.

It's now all about what every other team does as much as what we do over the next 4 weeks. Here's this weekend's relegation scraps:

    Saturday 12:45 TOTTENHAM v. FULHAM

Much to everyone's shock and disgust, Fulham have started winning and have taken 6 points from their last 2 games. I don't see them beating Spurs but they might get a point. Prediction: Draw.

Saturday 15:00 ASTON VILLA v. SOUTHAMPTON

If I were a Villa fan I'd be starting to get worried. It's 4 defeats in a row. Lets hope Southampton find their goal-scoring touch again after last weekend's blip. Prediction: Draw

    Saturday 15:00 CARDIFF v. STOKE

Cardiff will believe they are still in with a shout after winning at St Mary's. Stoke are safe and in good form. Prediction: another Draw

    Saturday 15:00 NEWCASTLE v. SWANSEA

Newcastle have lost 4 in a row without scoring. They can't keep that up for ever. We are stuttering on all cylinders. I truly have no idea what the result will be. Prediction: an optimistic Draw

Saturday 15:00 WEST HAM v. CRYSTAL PALACE

Both teams safe, IMO, so this result is of little consequence but Palace look like beating anyone at the moment. Prediction: Palace win

    Saturday 17:30 CHELSEA v. SUNDERLAND

With Chelsea pushing hard to stay on Liverpool's heels I don't see them slipping up here. Prediction: Chelsea win

    Sunday 12:00 NORWICH v. LIVERPOOL

The first of Norwich's nightmare run-in. Surely Liverpool have too much for them. Prediction: Liverpool win

Monday 20:00 MAN CITY v. WEST BROM

Man City slipped up against Sunderland in mid-week. Will lightning strike twice? Probably not. Prediction: Man City win

For once I agree with Lawrenson. I'll take a point right now if as reported Remy plays. He's proved me wrong as I didn't think he'd cut it in the Prem though if he's not match fit today that'll help. If Remy doesn't play I fancy us. Toon get nervy in front of their own fans and if we can get to 0-0 at half time they won't be happy. If they go in front we'll struggle. Bloody hell we need something today.

Fancy Fulham to pull out of trouble but doubt they'll get anything today. Norwich will be in deeper trouble tomorrow so I'm sticking with my earlier prediction of Sunderland, Canaries and and our lovely neighbours for the drop.

Well while the lads are preparing to try retain our PL status against a side who at some point will turn their season around (not today please ) , Chico is just about to tuck into a nice steak in the Harvester with the evidence of his wages for all to see outside the club shop :steam:

We need a win. We're capable of a win. Depends on which team turns up and whether we want it enough. Toon will be trying their socks off because their fans are demanding it. We need to play with energy and passion and do it for 90 minutes, anything less and we'll lose. Think we might get a draw though.

I have to apologise to Pardew, as I passed the the team onto him on Thursday and said Dyer would play and De Guzman's now starting.

Tottenham 3 Fulham 1 - full-time. The day's started well. That was arguably Fulham's hardest game since they now have to play Hull & Palace at home, Stoke away.

The best thing for Swansea today is the fact that Newcastle have nothing to play for...

Be happier if Dyer was starting , I think he had words with Monk ... apparently. Swans 3 - Newcastle 1.

No Canas or Pozuelo again. If they're not injured don't try telling me that there's not some problems behind the scenes.

We beat them easily earlier in the season and they are way way more **** at this point, so I will settle for nothing other than a win for us.

I don't think Pozuelo has even made the bench under Monk, and am not aware of any injury. Seems like a waste of a decent player.

Can you keep me updated lads. Away on a stag do.

As for Canas and Poz if they are causing problems (only logical explanation to not being picked) Monk should banish them from training with the Squad.

swans are doing fine, Newcastle on their heels. 2 small chances for Bony so far... Most interesting thing so far is the ref almost being KO'd on a rebound from a Shelvey shot attempt
