I like Dickie Dought as well ste, I have backed him with Betvictor however who offer him at 11-2 without the fav (Grandeur). I did this as I fancy him even with Grandeaur but could not be confident, without Grandeaur however I think he is the value bet of the day.

    My Bets
    1.45 Viewpoint 9-2
Got no run last time and should be able to take this from a plum draw in stall 2 today.

    2.55 Ertijal Evns
This is the bet of the day and still available at evens at the moment. This horse was given a terrible ride last time and still won. He will be sharper today and from stall 4 Mr Hanagan should not have a decision to get wrong as he often does if needing to make one. This horse is in my view is a different grade to anything else in the race.

5.20 Dickie Doughtwylie 11-2 (without Grandeaur) 8-1 (with)
As mentioned above a great value bet without the fav and a decent chance at even better odds with the fav. I have always liked this horse and that they persevere again with him at 6 causes me to feel it is still believed there is more to come.

I hope a fine Easter weekend is had by all.

Lady Ibrox today! Named after Scotlands top winning stadium that is currently home to a 1st team of plodders!! Hopefully some rich owner will come in and replace the incumbent trainer and fill the training ground with quality!

93k race and Jamie Spencer being interviewed by Matt chapman when asked how he was going to ride in relation to hold up or attempt to make use of the horses stamina answered that he would just see how she jumped and take it from there.

Jamie' on the all weather you must ride a start with a definite idea of where you want to sit, it may not work out for you but at least have an idea and ride to implement it, Lingfield is not Newmarket.

I am sure half these trainers cannot believe how much money they are running for today. Bold Ring won his last race and took home 2.5k

Fair ply on viewpoint. Nice finish. Thought Grendisar was going to do it at a stage.

Also what a ride from SDS on smoothtalkinrascal. Great jock !

Back home in lovely Donegal today after a long(and at some times hairy :emoticon-0110-tongu) drive from Enfield to Cairnryan to get the boat back!

All worth it for a week off and it is some day here today ! Feels just as warm as London for a change !

    Erijaal for me too !

    Naburn 6.00 Muss @ 4/1

The Alan Swinbank / Mr O R J Sangster combination (Wonder if he's any relation to the good man himself ? R.I.P.) have a 100% (4 from 4) record, also the trainer boasts a 20% strike rate at the track over the past 5 years.

    Good Luck!

    Bancnuanaheireann 5.20 Lingers @ 40/1 Betfair

I backed "The Above" ? @ 20/1 E/W on Monday as it was put up by a reliable tipping line I follow, I also have great respect for the trainer Michael Appleby. His odd's shortened during the week to as low as 10/1, that was before the draw was made! Unfortunately he drew the outside trap ie. 12! Since then he has drifted out to 28/1 Bet 365 but only 14/1 with Bet Victor?

He is available at 40/1 on Betfair at this present moment in time, surely this represents tremendous value, or does he have no chance from his car park draw?

    Good Luck!

Blackpool are horrific at the moment. Burnley at 9/10 is a gift.

That really is tremendous tipping. Doesn't matter it's the crappy all weather. It's bloody fabulous.

    Hats off.
