Like Cam Stewart he's been a totally different player since his injuries. He has not impressed since he came back and was nothing special in the SF. If Pulis wants to pay over 3 mill. for him I'd snap his hand off. We can do better and he is obviously a bit of a malcontent at City. Added to that is the risk that the Achilles problems could reoccur.
I think Philip Buckingham has made him sound a bit of a knob to be honest. Unfortunately there are still, in 2014, people who lap everything up that paper says... That's a shame...

Aluko should be determined enough to take a penalty like a footballer and not like a child. Then I'll start to take him seriously.
Some fans said that about Proschwitz! Aluko will not 'come good' at this level. He hasn't got it. Every time he gets the ball he is on a 'Bound for Glory' mission and ignores his team-mates.
Possible game-plan: Extend his contract, even though he doesn't 'fit' the squad's spirit........then get a good price for him, when he goes.
His football needs to improve against PL teams; his 45min flirt, against SU, was needed rather than outstanding. His comments are poor, but that can be sorted.
You do get the feeling he is not "one of the boys type", but that is going to be the case wherever he goes. Seems to have rather a high opinion of himself.
On his day has the ability to unlock defences, but those days have been non existent since he returned from his second injury. Personally believe he has a role to play with City, but if he wants out then goodbye!
