He has done many times in his career, believe it or not. But the sad fact is that he couldn't play in a Playpen now if he wanted to. He's all washed up.
You wont have too worry too long boys, As i was flicking through the boards yesterday, there was one on the Leeds board mentioning that arry would be available in the summer, probably. A few of thier mob wanted him in. I honestly cant remember which post it was. maybe one of our Leeds visitors will put up the link. Sorry got to much on ATM, but gooof news for Flyer & Co i suspect ? EDIT:http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/258142-New-manager-for-new-season
I liked Warnock and look, he did well for us. I didnt like Hughes or Redknapp and theyve been crap for us, funny that. Do you like crap managers making us ****?
Well it seems that it's your opinion setting our standards. why don't you start liking the guy, and then (by your logic) everything will be fine?
No,my logic is disliking bad managers and players and liking good ones because I want the best for the club. Of course my feelings have no impact at all but at least I won't feel stupid backing a man whose spent a fortune only to send us backwards. I can turn it around by saying you dont care about the club because you're quite happy with crap players and managers.
You could. You'd be wrong, but you could. I still say that you only see bad things because you're only looking for bad things, so that you can justify your opinion of the man. I have no time for attitudes like that, because they are self-fulfilling...
I see bad things because the club is in a bad place, I will see good things when the club is in a good place, anything other than that is idiotic. Your post has no logic at all, you think we've been playing crap dull uninspiring football because I expect it where as I see crap dull uninspiring football and am unhappy about it. Only one of those views has any logic at all.
Funny that. You liked him so much that you wanted him sacked immediately after we won promotion. Of course you didn't tell us who you wanted to replace him though...
Well, seeing as you are twisting my posts - and including stuff I never said, such as dull, and uninspiring, which is actually what YOU are saying - I wouldn't hold too much store by your definition of 'logic'. it's nice and sunny, so cheer up, for pity's sake!
I can see why you don't understand logic if you think my feelings somehow influence what goes on at the club and not the other way round. I am happy, just not with how the club is run, the funny thing is the whole board will be like that if we don't go up and if we fluke it, everyone will carry on ignoring the problems, at least until we get embarrassed in the PL.
You're the one saying that when you hate the manager, we do badly. Not that when the team does badly, you hate the manager (which would be the logical way). so the lack of logic is yours, not mine. And you can't show me where I allegedly said that I think we're playing crap, dull, uninspiring football? Thought so. You post is formulated on a falsehood that you cannot recognise or reconcile with facts. Therefore it's illogical (again) and, quite frankly, irrelevant. Where's your logic now?
No, I'm saying my opinion reflects what goes on at the club. I'm quite level headed, I don't see how anyone can be haply with a manager who doesn't care for us, one of the oldest teams in the league and a debt 17 times the amount that nearly put us out of business. When we are doing fine, I won't be wrist slashing should we lose 4 or 5 on the trot either.
Gents, If you don't mind my butting in, and I am all for healthy debate, but there is a lot of negative energy being expended on this thread and bickering going on solely on the basis of an original post that relates to speculation over what Harry may or not do if he is the manager next year, at a time when we do not even know 100% which league will be in. As my dad would say "paper never refused ink" and this argument has no basis in any factual event, so to me it seems a complete waste or time. If Doyle were a free agent at the moment and the club FORMALLY ANNOUNCED that he had been signed on a permanent basis on £40K per week starting in the first 11 this weekend in preparation for playing a wide role next year, then I would understand all the upset. The original post says nothing of the sort and if it is a true reflection of the entire conversation that a journo had or overheard with Arry, then surely you are wise enough to recognize fluffy words so as to not upset a squad player who is only on loan.
Flyer, you sir are a laughable joke. I don't know why you worry about things so much, you aren't even a fan of our club, because no fan would ever say they will give their season ticket up because if the manager. You are a disgrace of a fan! It is one thing to be unhappy with certain things, but to say you will stop supporting the team is laughable. And what if we get promoted in the play offs? Rednapp will have done the job asked of him and you are going to continue to sound like the biggest prat in the land saying he should still be sacked. Yes there are problems at the club, and fans such as yourself are one of them. Jog on!
Even though Lone has expended considerable energy in getting me banned in the past, I must say that is a most exquisite post. Well said Sir!
Swords you flatter yourself. I have pulled you up when you have just tried to stir things, but that's as far as it goes. When you keep to rules and converse instead of wind up, alls good. Besides I'm scared to say you've been speaking my mind recently, and that scares me!
