Personally I hope he does not. When the club appointed Gus I have to say I was not that bothered about it and as ecstatic as when we had appointed MoN and PDC. Maybe this was to do with the fact that they had both turned out to be bad choices and negativity was in the air. Anyway since then I have really grown to like Gus and how he transformed us and get us back into the mix. Since that Cup Final defeat though we have certainly hit a brick wall, the performance at Hull a week later in the FA Cup was a shambles and picking up 1point since the 3-0 win at Newcastle is the reason why we will go down! But until the last week I still had not questioned Poyet and 100% whole heartedly wanted him here next season. I aint saying my opinion on that had totally changed but I have gone from 100% to about 80% now and that is because of what Poyet has been saying in his interviews. I find it baffling for him to talk about his future and who knows what will happen and his demands and all this and that when mathematically we could still get out of this. Yes we need a miracle but shouldn't the manager be saying all the right things. This summer will be the biggest since the last time we were in The Championship and IF Gus does not want to be here then he has to go no matter how good he is or potentially good everyone has to be geared up and ready to move in the right direction esp. the f u c k i n g manager! If this turns out to be the case I have thought it a few times now but I would love to see Roy Keane back in the dug out for another crack of it
Keane ? No way. He'd flood the squad with the sort of overpaid has beens we have now. We need a new approach , let's give Gus chance to build a side.
