Nope 2 wins in the FA Cup , one a memorable win at Old Trafford to place us in the 5 round (so that Monk and Jenkins could purposely make us bow out ). Laudrup had us in the 5 round of the FA Cup , 2nd round of Europa Cup and 14th in the Premier. Infested with injury and playing the creme de la creme of the premier over the Christmas break till the transfer window shut....then got sacked so Monk and Jenkins could do their comedy act till now with an eased shedule and a healthy team
Cwm, Monk is doing the best he can under difficult circumstances, he's been thrown in the deep end for sure, and he is not the long term answer, most Jacks were surprised when he was appointed, and I took his appointment as a temporary solution, and still do. You will see the fuller picture once the season has ended, and I fully expect our board to appoint an experienced manager, the Premier League is no place for a Rookie, but Monk is doing ok!.............
