We have had a post on players for next season but if we end up needing a new manager for next season has anyone got any choices. My choices would be eddie howe. Gus poyet. (rumour going round he may be on his way) and finally what about young cloughie. Nice quiet man gets on well with everyone a track suit type coach and promotes and plays good passing football. Well just food for thought. Over to you very knowledgeable lot.

Steve Clarke would be good I think or Poyet... don't blame him for the rubbish he has had to work with at Sundie, I think both would be excellent coaches and have good man management skills to bring Leeds back to the top flight. The new breed of players need to be molly coddled and hence why the younger manager seem's to be able to get the best out of team's nowaday's...they know what's required to get the best out of each player to make them perform better on the field.

Harry just seems to want to buy results could he work with a limited budget?

I think Harry is just managing for the sake of managing nowadays. He's regretting not getting the England job and unless that comes up soon for him I don't think he cares that much, it's just something to pay the golf membership with.

I am more than confident that we will start season 2014/2015 with the same manager as we have at the end of 2013/2014 season. I would agree a manager like Steve Clarke would be the kind of manager I would wish to see at Leeds, quiet and gets on with the job, with his concentration of the football and not the media or anything else. There isn't one Ital out there I would want anywhere near ER and I'm also struggling to think of a single Ital that currently plays football that I would wish to see playing for Leeds, so to put it simply, I am okay with an Ital owner but I don't want a single Ital player or manager near the club.

As I've said elsewhere, I think you're in for a big dissie, Boab. Cellino buys the players, and he doesn't know our market, hence he'll be almost wholly reliant on the non-Brit market for a while.

I think Clarke would be a reasonable choice, and I wouldn't rule out Di Matteo. But it would be interesting to see BM work with a known budget, and with the bonus of a heap of junk going out of contract at the end of the season.

I like the idea of having either Di Matteo or Poyet as manager, don't think we'll be getting either though.

I still think this football club is unclear because we have no idea just how long BM actually has, will be interesting to see if managers actually want to come to Leeds with Cellino's past with them

I'd quite like Malkay Mackay. Don't think Cardiff would be in the bottom three if they'd kept him.

Played in a corporate golf day last week out here presented by Vodafone, Richard Keys and Andy Gray (they present BEIN Sport channel out here) was present, and Richard Keys won the tournament (dodgy handicap) got chatting with Keys and told him i have been a life long fan of Leeds, he expressed it was a shame such a big club had been in the doldrums for so long, but they are on the verge of turning the corner, but would not elaborate on that, so what he knows in the football circle, who knows! We did talk about football in general and that Glen Hoddle had been approached by Levi at Spurs to take over but he turned it down, heard anything back in UK to that tune??

I know somebody who works in a bookies and about 6 months ago (when Laudrup was at Swansea) a bloke walked in and put 10 grand on Glenn Hoddle being Swansea manager next season thought it was strange 6 weeks later Laudrup got sacked.

I reckon we will get that Massimo Cellino as manager....

Glenn Hoddle - values and develops young skillful players, lots of experience top division, led teams to promotion, national level experience and abroad.
