Not so much AFCB's good luck but Yeovil's bad. If it wasn't for bad luck, they'd have no luck at all. [sang the bluesman]
Think it is a little strange (but also a little understandable) that you are only talking about the lack of goalscoring players or goalscoring system and no one is talking about the quality of defence: nothing to do in the first halve and very bad at the few opportinities Cardiff had. Just a little pressure from the opponent and both CB did not know (again) how to handle. A problem we have a few weeks allready. Both had again an bad day i think.
Meh - football is $hit - Saints get beat, Aberdeen get beat in SC SF - Bah !. That `s the first time AberdeenSaintJnr has see Saints beaten at SMS.. We`ll get over it - COYRs !
Gutted that the Dons let that lead slip yesterday. Was hoping for a cup double and 2nd place. Oh well, still a good season.
Let's just say we agree to disagree? I didn't miss your point, I just don't agree with it. Largely as I don't feel that the chances we created were anywhere near as good as you (or some others) feel they were. I don't think we deserved to score more than 1 goal from that game with those chances, and if you re-ran the same set of chances created 1,000,000 times I fully expect that it would average out at around 1 goal per game (yes some more, some less, but an average of around 1). Post #296 on page 15 explains my rationale for my earlier comments, and also what I would have done differently as manager if I was MP, with the same resources. Again, each to their own.
