Morning Everyone, A win at last!!!!!! Two well taken goals from Luke Murphy were enough to secure 3 points and more importantly should ensure our Championship survival this season. Murphy has not scored since the opening day of the season, when he grabbed a last minute winner. Even though we beat Blackpool, as a side we were poor, just less poor than Blackpool. Big question is : Can we beat Barnsley? If you were to put our loathed Chairmen in order of preference, in what order would you put them, and why? Bates Ridsdale Haigh
Morning Elland and all. Roll on summer and the big clear out. That's a shoddy list of chairmen but here goes. I put Haigh as most loathed, marginally ahead of bates, Risdale the least, also marginally. Reasoning, there was some positives in risdales. He was a fool who bankrupted us buy at least had the right intentions and we did have some good seasons under him. Bates was 99% crap. Did get a promotion so threats the 1% good. Haigh though, for me, no positives at all. No knowledge or interest in football and motivated only by money
Morning all, glad we got the win, now just a waiting game for everything to start unfolding. Before the season ends I would love to hear we have brought back Elland Road and maybe something positive towards the youth set up and future young talent, that would suit me until Pre season starts.
Morning Eire, I can only see 2 or 3 of the current squad starting next season. Unfortunately the rest are not going to be wanted, even by league 1 teams

Few loose ends first like GFH are they going to put 25% in? If they are not then how does this partnership actually work...
Morning gang. Great result Saturday. I can see a similar result this Saturday. The one interesting thing about the win against Blackpool was how Murphy finally got his ar*e forward & scored 2 as a result. Will we finally see Murphy & possibly Mowatt justifying their expense/justification. Looked as though Tonge also put in a fair shift, as did Brown. All in all, a good day all round. As for next season, I'd keep the back 4 & get BMD to decide who the strongest pairing are as CBs. In midfield, I think Murphy one side, Brown & Tonge in the centre with Austin pushing hard to dislodge one of them, & Mowatt/Stewart/Poleon on the other. Up top, we have Ross and Smith. I think we need someone to relegate Smith to the bench as an impact sub. I think it will be good if we can get Butland and a CM with experience who can run the game. We also need a proper RW so that BMD has options for how the side can push on going forward. All in all and with Cellino's money to help, I think we're in for a good few months.
Don't think we will see as many of our current faces next season Boggers, more some foreign unknowns to light the place up. Have to tell them Leeds is the capital of the Riviera of the historic and warm ancient Roman state of Yorkshiri
Boggers, I like both Brown and Tonge, but I'll be amazed if they're both here next season. We need better quality
Morning all, No way is Haigh worse than Ridsdale and Bates. Good win Saturday for manager Gibbs and his assistant McDermott
Morning all ... Murphy is a quality player, he will come good here or somewhere else ... we still need at least a dozen new players ... as for bad chairmen there is no need for a list, there's just one, RIDSDALE!! None of the last decade would have happened if it wasn't for the egotistical bastard ... everything he did he did was in his own interests and for his own personal gain, never for the club ... don't for one second believe his "we were all living the dream" bullshit, he was the ultimate photo-op chairman, seeking stardust at every turn ... he lucked out thanks to our Academy producing a superb crop of youngsters who fired us to the top, then he gambled the club against a plethora of very expensive signings ... risking the club to the extent he did was criminal, and how we didn't fold completely is still a miracle ... Ridsdale is the ultimate buffoon, he came within a heartbeat of completely destroying the club, and the utter despair and pain that has followed since his dreadful reign cannot be summed up in words ... he set this club back at least 25 years, we have lost so much ground on clubs like Stoke, yes, fcuking Stoke ... our fan base has taken a huge hit as youngsters shy away from following their local club, or dad's team, because in all honesty who wants to go to school admitting they follow the shower that is Leeds United? I remember a few years ago I'd been to Wembley to watch the Rhinos get stuffed in the Cup Final by Warrington, on the train back there was a family of Rhinos all kitted out, and we started talking football, the dad got a bit grumpy as he revealed that his daughter, sitting there in her Rhinos shirt, was in fact a Chelsea supporter!! Now, she was 18 years old and refused to support Leeds United, her hometown club, because they had let her down and weren't worth following, she would even rather travel down to London to watch the Blue Scum before going anywhere near ER ... that is just one example of the damage Ridsdale did to our club, and he should forever be held in the lowest regard and be covered in infamy, the selfish fool!! Bates we always knew was a crook, Haigh is a naive Tory who was out of his depth and took a position where he had no power over GFH, his own stupidity and so he pays a heavy price for it, but no tears from me ... the only other people I know of who were anywhere near as bad as Ridsdale were that quality double act B&B, who between them did their utmost to bankrupt this fine country, allowing the banks to get away with untold theft, bloating the public sector to the point of exploding, and then left with a song and a smile to go and pick up piles of cash on the dinner speaking circuit ... fcuking disgrace!!
Bates. Haigh Ridsdale Crook, Stupid, Devious, Liar, Clueless, buffoon, Out Of Their Depth, Made Money At Our (clubs) Expense - Those are tags I could place against each of them and some more tags than one. Only one chairman could I place Crook, Devious and Made Money At Our Expense against and that is Bates. I guess it depends on what you find more forgiving
In what order....... the only order i would give is shoot all the ****ers for what they have done to a great club!
At the end of the day if it wasn't for the buffoon Ridsdale the buffoons Bates and Haigh wouldn't have come anywhere near the club. The club had a great youth policy, the first team was filled with young talent brought through the ranks alongside the odd acquisition here and there like McAllister, Strachan, Radebe, Dorigo and Viduka, the crowds were averaging 35,000 and the club was funding itself. There was no need for the likes of Seth Johnson, Robbie Fowler etc. Ridsdale blew it and we've suffered the likes of Bates, GFH and Haigh purely because of him.
I was chatting to a someone over the weekend, not a football fan, but has a basic interest in football. I told them about the hidden spy cameras found at ER and the police being involved. Their reply was "Leeds, really, I could understand it at a big club, but why Leeds" After a lot of thought, I realised how low we have sunk in the general publics eyes.
Well given that Haigh has never been chairman of the club, its a bit harsh to include in the most loathed chairman list, even if I dont think much of the guy. As for the contest between Ridsale and Bates. Some could argue if it hadnt been for Ridsdale being over ambitious then we wouldnt have had to put up with Bates, but it could also be argued that he was trying to move us forward. Bates some would say was there to steady a sinking ship and thus keep a tight grip on the purse strings, however the counter argument then is he still managed to take us into administration despite his "tight control" on our spending. Thus if for purposes of this survey we class Haigh as a chairman (which he isnt or wasnt) then in least worst order Haigh Ridsdale Bates Haigh for painting too many rosy pictures when obviously things werent as well as he would have us believe, probably more down to trying to be popular and being naive at how to run a football club, and saddling himself with GFH Ridsdale for letting his ambitions out stretch our spending power Bates for dragging a struggling club even further into the mire
