How come nobody's airing the thought of picking up a few lucky points against Mourinhos men? They had a busy midweek and are likely not to be very motivated against a hurt Swansea side? Or should I say things differently: how can Swansea avoid getting murdered by the most likely PL runners-up?
I don't think they're the most likely Premier League runners-up. They will most likely finish 3rd. Liverpool & Man City top two. I think Man City will win it, but I hope Liverpool do. And Everton to finish 4th. Two ex-Swans managers in top 4. Who'd have thought that a few years ago. Perhaps Monk can take over at Man City or Chelsea to complete a hat-trick for us.
I Don't necessarily disagree, plastic, but you're immediately off topic: it's a "how will Swansea do"-thread...
Are you new to the game of football? Where is everyone today? Very quiet here. I think I'll leave you to it. Switch off the lights before you leave.
Not confident Mikra, Monk was out thought by Bruce last week and I think he will be by Mourhino. Could be an extremely poor day for us today the way results are going!
We're so hot and cold right now it wouldn't surprise me if we got something tomorrow after losing to a poor Hull side last week. Sums up our season. 2-2 and I'd take that right now.
Think we're in for a hiding, wish it wasn't the case but a lucky point would be fantastic. Head - Swans 1-3 Chelsea Heart - Swans 1-1 Chelsea Bony to score. ... and to avoid getting murdered we will have to defend like lions and harry them in midfield - hunting in packs. Concentration for the duration. Given that we usually nod off a couple of times a game recently it's not too likely
A draw looks likely though we do have a good record against this Chelsea team, so I'm going with a 2-1 win to the Swans!...
Feeling very pessimistic after todays results. I can see us getting a hiding tomorrow and also getting relegated as I don't see where we can pick up points - Maybe the Villa game ? Since Monk has taken over I don't have any confidence in our ability to beat ANYBODY.
How about Villa, Newcastle, Sunderland or even Southampton! Villa at home should be a targeted 3 pointer, Newcastle have already gone in holiday by the looks of it, Southampton will only have pride to play for and hopefully we will be safe by the time we play Sunderland and they may be already down by then.
