    God forbid this:

Roy Keane completed talks with Graham Taylor and new owner Bassini today and will be named Watford manager within the next 48 hours. Keane is willing to take a serious pay cut and wants the opportunity to work with Watfords young academy players and prove himself to be a top manager.

A big No No to Keano !!! Roberto Di Matteo would be a great option, however I would fear it would be a stop-gap appointment.

Gary Waddock appears to be getting a few mentions and could be a more realistic target. Not sure about Dickov, didnt set the world a light in league 1. Should we be looking at a Watford Old Boy ?? Plenty around at the moment or in the odds....

Why not Bucks, In these turbulent times a bit of continuity would be good! Give him a good no 2 though!

Here is some stories from the site:

    20 Jun 2011 19:28:03
Billy Sharp is set to hand in a transfer request and will sign for Watford for £1.2 million.

    20 Jun 2011 19:26:31
Watford are set to appoint Paul Peschisolido as their new manager. The ex forward has done well with Burton Albion over the last few years on a shoestring budget and with his contacts in the game, Watford are looking to bring in another young boss.

    20 Jun 2011 18:15:51
Bournemouth to sign Andy Gosney of Eastleigh meaning one or both of Feeney or Pugh will go. Jalal on his way to Watford or Doncaster. Pearce probably to Portsmouth although maybe Ipswich or Reading. Wiggins may now be Cardiff bound.

And here is more drivel from the rumour website:

    20 Jun 2011 19:41:35
Watford will appoint Dougie Freedman as their new manager. Palace have granted the young manager a chance to move clubs as Graham Taylor has promised him all of the money from the Danny Graham transfer to spend this summer. Jim Magilton will reject the chance to work at Vicarage Road as he looks to be getting lined up to be the new Palace boss.

I missed the Olly one, now that would have been fun:) The thing is with that site that it is open for anyone to put anything on there with any checking or any Moderators!

I think it will be from within, like you say Norway cheapest option possible! We will scare off most established managers as we have no money to spend and with the wage cap as well! Why not give SD a go and with a good Number 2, you just never know:)

I think my preference would be for Hughton, although a dream ticket of Sean Dyche and Nigel Gibbs would do nicely.
