Looks like our home game v Arsenal is going to change again because of Chelsea's CL semi final. Chelsea are playing the first leg on the Tuesday and as they are scheduled to play Sunderland live on Sky at 14:05 on the Sunday, it is almost certain to swap with our Arsenal game so they will play Sat 17:30 and we will play Sunday 14:05 Edit: now officially confirmed by the club
Unlikely to happen as the City v Arsenal is a scheduled SKY TV game, so why post something which is currently irrelevant. Wait until it happens, if indeed it does. If anything they will probably just re-schedule the Chelsea game.
Let's wait and see shall we. Chelsea aren't going to play 2pm Sunday and then away in Madrid on Tuesday night.
From a selfish point of view, I'd like that. I am probably going to miss the game as I am going to be down in Suffolk visiting relatives, and was planning to come back on the Saturday night.
I hope it changes, 5:30 kick offs are the biggest load of twattery a tv company has the power to dish out, the utter ****s. I can see the appeal for both sky and Chelsea too, sky won't want Chelsea fielding a weaker side and if that extra day means Chelsea will be more willing to field a stronger team then I'm sure they'd jump at it.
Unlikely to happen? stupid post? Now officially confirmed by the club You can apologise whenever you're ready!
Please note that we have received notification from the Premier League that our home game against Arsenal will now be played on Sunday 20th April, KO 2.05pm. Full refunds available to Hull City supporters who have purchased tickets and are unable to make the new date
Why not? Surely with all the money they've spent, they should be able to field a squad capable of beating the bottom of the league club. (Didn't we play 3 games in a week in our first season in the prem?) Two sets of away fans have been massively ****ed over by this.
I bet Allam had a massive hand in this in an attempt to garrotte CTWD and ruin their AGM. How petty can the man get?
