I'm talking about people who have the money to go, but because it's a lower league team they're not bothering with it because they think we'll walk it, so they're saving themselves for the final. I had a conversation with a few of them at work earlier. Their words not mine.
I don't know anybody like that , are they season ticket holders ? I've heard people say they can't afford to go to Wembley twice so I guess they are assuming we'll win We can't even fill our own ground for most premier league games though , we aren't a well supported club at all
I wonder if he's really involved? It wouldn't surprise me, some of the stuff the Comms team have to do astounds me. I commonly asked 'why are you doing that?' to be told 'there's nobody else to do it'. A hands-on approach is laudable but it stops them doing the job they're meant to do!
Guy at the ticket office earlier on reckoned it was around 29k so far, although he had a large pile of spare tickets behind him.
I'd have the balloons suspended in a net 30 foot above the ground, with the net secured to the goal frames and the roof of the stadium. Give a 30 second countdown to the release when people would be allowed on the pitch to try and get them. Then when everyone has charged on 10 seconds early I'd open the net to reveal we'd used helium balloons and laugh as they floated out the top of the stadium. If we'd sold 29k we'd have 3,000 spare so that's not really contradictory.
I know that, i didnt mean it in that context. I was just adding that they had a large pile in the back
I collect my tickets at wembley on the day, hope there's not too much riffraff making large queues for me.
dont want to p iss on your chips but how have you now sold 29k when your on the same blocks as tuesday online ,and still all the £60s havnt gone at the ticket office ,you will have a great and loud following of 27k and the blades will be slightly greater and louder with 33k plus club wembley
Yes, because it's impossible that those blocks haven't sold out but more tickets in those blocks have been bought... And we were never able to buy the £60 seats.
To be fair, we never had the option of buying the £60 seats. They were given away straight away by the club to the corporates & player's families. So if it's true, i dunno what's happened there.
I asked about online to the ticket office. Online are selling different tickets to what is sold in the actual ticket office. But if we'd sold 27k, Allam has since given tickets away to councils, local businesses, people who just generally deserve some like that old man who supported us since we last was in the Semi. Plus sales of online and ticket office. I can see how it's gone up 2k
I know a few buying tickets today since they've been paid etc and can afford it. There's also still 100 coaches leaving, so must be a fair few going Shocking how the club have left it until now to advertise on the Facebook page
I believe so, I think the club have to buy as many tickets as we want up front off the FA, and then it's up to them to get them sold or miss out.
What, for the final? Not if we get there and play Wigan. The 2,565 won't see the point in travelling to watch Wigan.
No. Not this. I'm a student and forked out £150 to get there, my overdraft is like a black hole. Train tickets back to hull, tiger travel and tickets. If any Hull uni students got it for free id die a little inside.
