"At its meeting in London today, the Board of Directors of The Football League considered the outcome of the recent appeal by Massimo Cellino under the Owners' and Directors' Test. "In making its original decision, the Board took the view that Mr Cellino's recent conviction in Sardinia was for an act that 'would reasonably be considered to be dishonest' and that he was therefore subject to a disqualifying condition. "In the current absence of detailed reasons for the conviction from the Sardinian Court and having taken into account the principles of Italian law, an independent QC reached a different conclusion. On this basis, Massimo Cellino is cleared to be a Director of Leeds United." Cellino IN!
I think you should celebrate by beating Blackpool on saturday and then do Barnsley and Birmingham just for good measure.
We will be happy with just beating Blackpool. Then at Barnsley we can play the kids as the result won't matter..............oh!
From YEP.NOT QUITE HOW MIGHTY DESCRIBES THINGS IS IT. I have spoken to a lot of the Italian guys in Leeds about him who are from the Cagliari area and they all say that at Cagliari they love what he has done for the club. He has kept them alive and despite the club being one of the smaller ones in Serie A, he has kept them in the top division in Italy and everybody has good words for him.
Every day this week so far there's been a good news story about Leeds. Could get used to this but I'm sure it'll come to an abrupt end on Saturday
all banter Chesh good luck with him BUT REMEMBER the hassle i got from WALL fans when i told them LOMAS was no good for the club i still have the long list of them who said 6 months later "YOU WERE RIGHT" look forward to hearing from you in November
