Surely anyone that wanted rid of the Allam family would have voted No to Hull Tigers? But only 2517 did, the vast majority supported neither, what does that show? May I also ask, everyone is outraged at Assem for his stupid outburst when fans had a different opinion to his, but when any pro name changer comes on here they get abused. What's the difference? Thanks OLM, for giving me the perfect example.
CTWD 'created a black and white environment' and 'shifted all the blame on AA'? Who made it a Hull Tigers versus Hull City? Not CTWD - so where should the blame be placed? I'll volunteer that it should be placed on those who encouraged or bowed down to him. Where do you find yourself when you answer that question?
I would say CTWD did what it said on the tin. We showed substantial opposition amongst Hull City fans and asked the FA to say no, which they did. I would say, given the statements of Assem Allam, we have shown remarkable restraint. I still think if he dropped the idea and called a meeting of all fans groups to help find ways of masking City self-sufficient without the name change there would be a huge sigh of relief across the Tiger Nation and we could all work together to build Hull City into an established Priemer League team. Whether he'll do that isn't up to me, its a decision that will be taken by Assem Allam.
But there wasn't an option to go against the Allam family? Ironically it's a similar argument CTWD put forward about about there not being an option for Yes to Hull Tigers
Nope, it's really simple. The vote was called purely to show Allams support. Despite the poor questions and other influences, 83% didn't support him. It could only be spun the other way if CTWD had called the vote, or the questions were better worded.
In a childish manner, you can spin the poll any way you want to be honest, but why there wasn't a landslide CTWD victory, despite the unfair questions, should surely be a cause of concern?
Petty arguments such as what? What DMD stated there is simple fact, a brief and unbiased summary of proceedings. You're either really thick, or you just haven't followed the situation at all, have absolutely no knowledge of what's been going on and therefore are unqualified for valid comment.
As I said, I was simply responding to the point YOU made. It's not CTWD's poll, you simply can't spin it as you keep trying to do. Depsite the piss poor wording, the vote was to determine the level of support Allam had. It was 17% even with the fudges and influence.
Then why don't you behave like Mr. Einstein? You aver you're not bothered about the name-change, but you back AA in his 'wisdom'. Did you also vote YES? You want it all to now fade away, but you must be aware that your hero won't allow it to.
How am I supposed to f**king find the posts YOU removed?? Please explain. I posted a couple things in January around the time when the Name change discussion thread was created and they disappeared instantly. They were of course criticising CTWD. Otherwise I wouldn't give a **** that you and PLT are CTWD members and therefore biased. I even sent Ricardo a message. Also do you really think I have the time ( i know some do ) to look through THOUSANDS of threads to prove to YOU of all people?
You've made a strong statement accusing me and another person and you've just repeated the lie. Not one solitary post has been removed or altered purely because it was pro-name change. Either back your claim, apologise, or **** off.
Well I was given ZERO reasons as to why it was removed. Is that good moderation? How the f**k am I suppose to guess it wasn't because of CTWD? f**k off I'm not apologising for anything. My posts got deleted but conveniently for you I can't prove that. It's either you or PLT because I spoke to Ricardo who made it clear he wasn't CTWD and frankly at the time both you and PLT were breaching your duties as moderators and insulting me on a personal level and getting involved in the subject matter too much. Just ask PLT if it wasn't you then. I don't give a flying ****.
I think yours is a minority opinion. You only have to look at Twitter, facebook, other clubs representatives, journalists and sports presenters to realise that CTWD conducted themselves very sensibly and professionally. They have never made things personal against Mr Allam despite provocation from him and have always stressed their support for the Allams continuing to run the club, the only thing they campaigned against was the name change. There will always be individuals who chant stuff you don't like or come onto forums and post stuff you don't like but CTWD are not to blame for that.
You can prove it if it happened, I've already told you that ALL our actions can be viewed by the supermods.
