Anyway, let's get back on track.

Pixies; most awesome band just about ever for me, and this probably my favourite tune. Marvellous.

My personal fave Pixies tune is either Wave Of Mutilation or Debaser.

That album Doolittle is one of my fave albums of all time.

All four studio albums by them are probably in my top 10 of all time.

Joey Santiago is vastly underrated guitarist.

You had better tell Dave Grohl then. He says YES.

Well he also needed time to spend his Nirvana royalties as well.

In my day it was David Bowie and Queen.

Did anyone like the Bleach album? Good album

Drummer on that (Chad Channing?) was sacked and they got Grohl in and then did Nevermind! Bet Chad was well pissed off

    Incesticide album as well?

My favourite is In Utero though without a doubt

I believe that Nevermind and IU are far and away the best of their output. Bleach didn't resonate with me (just didn't have the tunes or riffs), while Incesticide was little more than a collection of demos and out-takes (albeit pretty good ones). Although it's much-vaunted, the Unplugged thing didn't work for me with Nirvana. The songs lost their point and energy.

Nevermind and In Utero are superb works though, full of everything that great rock music should be full of; massive guitars and drums and searing vocal messages.
