Sandy brown dies aged 75

Ex Everton player Sandy Brown has died aged 75.

For our younger viewers Sandy scored one of the most spectacular headers ever in a Derby game, unfortunately it was in his own net. But I still remember it fondly.

 

Sandy Brown was a good professional and gave his all for Everton. Condolences to his family and friends.

 

I echo Dave sentiments, RIP Sandy.

 

i did not know the player, for once not old enough, sounds like he was around the liddell era? also did he at any point play for spurs?

He was later than Liddell. Brown started his Everton career in the early 60's around the time I started following the game, Liddell was before my time.
