We've been relegation fodder since Ellis Short handed control of the club to the players when he gave in to them & sacked Paulo Di Canio, we also have 12 or 13 players whose contracts are up at the end of the season & 4 loan players, so, what do they care any way what happens to the club!
Me as well, I can't justify spending this amount of money when we are basically skint, not for this crap anyway, I'd sooner put the money to a decent holiday for me & the missus!
The thing is I am disillusioned with the game in general, most people in this country are struggling to make ends meet, we have Paul O'Grady doing adverts about child poverty in this country (even though we send hundreds of millions in aid abroad) & certain people are getting paid tens of thousands of £'s/wk with one getting paid £300 000/wk to play football & I totally agree with the statement from Joey Barton that he is not world class. The days are long gone when players were at clubs because they wanted to play for them. All SAFC is a red 'n' white gravy train to most at the club & it sickens me to think that way, it wasn't an easy decision, but, I just don't want to think of them having my money anymore!
