Anyone see any of the quarter finals over the weekend? I only watched highlights on Saturday on the Irish Language channel TG4 and couldn't understand a word they were saying, but they do have a very easy on the eye presenter....but have to say that Munster laid down a huge marker with their demolition of Toulouse out scoring them by 6 tries to 2, but Toulon will be no pushovers especially in South of France. Felt sorry for Ulster as they did incredably well to get within 2 points of Saracens when they had to play 75 minutes with only 14 players. The sending off was rather harsh because at no time did the Ulster lad take his eyes of the ball, it was an accidental clash which looked worse by the way the Saracens lad landed....a yellow card would have sufficed as the decision made it almost impossible for Ulster to win. Clermont look awsome and will take some stopping, they've not been beaten at home since November 2009, some going...... So 2 huge semis at the end of April with 4 of the best club sides in Europe involved, bring it on......
Top level club rugby is as good as the internationals these days, Clermont are clear favourites but no-one is a pushover at this stage...
In all the years of the H Cup last Saturday was the first time that Toulouse had played at Thomond Park, they may want to leave it another few years before going back again!!!
Yeah Tra Mor, was there with my 12yr old daughter. Absolutely fantastic performance but Toulon in Sth France will be a totally prospect. Currently submitted my visa application to the Home Office......
Now Now CAH that's not very neighbourly...... CORKer bit of a dilemma for you if both the R's and Munster reach their respective finals both are on the same day, which one would you choose Wembley of Cardiff?
