Bruce, this has been explained on here loads if times. It won't change because a lot of fans of a team which can't sell out its semi-final allocation feel they should be able to go to the final even though they will get more tickets than their average crowd. This whole thing, people wanting tickets with a mate sat next to them, wanting to know why they can't have the same seats if we get to the final, has shown a lot of people have a small town attitude instead if a big city one. You don't get other clubs' fans going on like this they are just glad to get a ticket. Some people would have a nervous breakdown if we were like the big clubs and had more season passholders than there are tickets available?
Likewise a pass holder who hasn't gone to a single cup game this season should get a ticket to the final over a non-pass holder that has been to every cup game? How about a pass holder that only turns up for league games against the big teams (trust me there are plenty) over a non-pass holder that gets to the games regardless of opposition? There's always going to be individual situations that appear unfair regardless of who gets priority. Season passes are for the league, the cup is a different competition and if you have no intention of supporting the club in that competition until a glory game at Wembley then I don't see why you should get priority.
Still to many Man Utd, Liverpool etc kicking around in the City. Especially young kids forced into it by their Dads
People who purchase a season ticket put their money into the club before a ball has been kicked. Therefore it is, and always has been, that season ticket holders get priority on cup tickets. And that's how it should be.
Ok I didn't disbelieve it just seems to be no firm figures to confirm it. I remember the club saying there was gonna be 13,000 plus for the Brighton replay and it was 10,000
Another very disappointing attendance especially with it being as cheap as chips to get in IE Sunderland game
They all have much larger nationwide fan bases from which to draw support. You can't compare those clubs with us. As for all this negativity of the population that you mention, in my view Hull is no worse or no better then any other city or large town in the country in this respect. Every place has it's whingers.....
An astute media and PR savvy Chief Exec would have sold those remaining tickets. Why haven't we got one?
all this bollocks about someone being more DESERVING? the fans will still make noise, so what does it matter? it should be 1st come 1st served. if you can't get a ticket? tough ****! should have got there sooner!
The main reason that we haven't sold out is simple. 1. Lack of money and the need for a lot to choose and gamble on this game or the cup final itself if we then get through. 2. I think this name change farce has knocked the stuffing out of a lot of people.
Because the owners ****ed him about and now they can't get another one to come in. I think one of the existing employees at the club might get the job eventually.
Like Allam said when he came in he knows nothing about football. You wouldn't know that we where in a Semi final half the time. Clueless when it comes to promoting the club just happy causing consternation amongst the fans
