Morning Everyone, GFH employed someone will the sole purpose to find investors!!! Andrew Umbers, (of whom I know very little) has now been released from his £15,000-a-month retainer, even set-up a meeting in a Milan hotel between club officials and a group of potential investors from Qatar called 'Al Gosabai Capital'. This group claim to be billionaires, but it turned out to be a hoax, and the proposed 70m deal collapsed. Umbers bought investors including Mike Farnan to the table. Cellino has publicly stated that he will give McDermott a chance to show what he can do. McDermott though, must be on borrowed time, his team has only won three times this year, and one of those, a 5-1 win v Huddersfield he was only there in spirit. It does make you think though, if the players are that fickle that they can turn on a display like they did, why they can't more often, especially if McDermots neck is on the line. It's hard to imagine between January 1st and the end of this month, Hunt has earned best part of £500,000 in wages! Where's the fairness in that? Watford game tonight! Does anyone imagine that we'll get anything from the game? Will Watford be after blood after what happened the last day of last season?
Morning Elland and all. Not surprised at anything re read about gfh. Worryingly Byram now has a hamstring injury. End of an awful season for him. Unfortunately, I think he may prove to be a luxury we can't afford. At least McD getting a few more games will keep his staunch supporters happy.
Morning Eire, I don't get it. McDermott has won 3 games all year. He's signed Hunt on 100k a month. He's signed players like Wootton Zeliukas Stewart Kebe Murphy Hunt. The only decent player he signed was Smith. The only player who he signed who startsregularly starts for us is Murphy, and he does not live up to his 1m price tag.

Dont think it'll matter much Billy, cos if McD is here next season, a big if, he won't have any say in signings. Cellino will be using his own cash and given the track record of both, he's certainly not going to hand over millions to McD I think

Morning all I was quite surprised to hear Massimo publicly stating that BMD is getting a chance. I expected him to wait until the outcome of tonights game to say anything about him really. As for the Hunt wages thing, wasn't there something spread around that actually Cellino got that one wrong and it was a different player he was talking about? Still not excusable (particularly as the alternative player suggested was Kebe) but it isn't fair on Hunt if thats the case. He's got a lot of stick over something none of us are actually sure is true!
