Cardiff and Sunderland are not a worry to us imo. Fulham could be. . They need 7 points from 5 games to overtake us before we even get another point . That would give them over 50 points , at that rate , over an entire season .We may already be safe and the way we are playing , its a good thing. Is it possible we are already safe ? <yikes>

I doubt it, roof. We need at least another 3 points but have to consider that freak results for the bottom clubs could see them overhaul us. I'd guess we'll be safe on 38 points.

37 points will do it this season I think. We are just very lucky that there are 3-4 teams worse than us and have a brutal run in.

Think we need another 3 to be on the cusp, 4 points would make us safe I feel.

If we had 38 points ivor , Fulham would need 4 wins from theyre last 5 games to overtake us , Cardiff would need more.Better than a 50 -50 chance we are already safe imo.

We need one more win in my view to be safe, and we could have got it yesterday, if our team of wasters had half a brain!

Fulham have the easiest of the last 5 games, and that will no doubt put pressure on Norwich and WBA, Sunderland have a nightmare of the next 4 games, and will not get any points from them, so their games in hand are shot to pieces. I see Cardiff, Sunderland, and maybe Norwich, WBA, or Fulham going down.......<ok>

I think we'll get to at least 34 points.

I think we will hit 40 points and none of the current bottom 3 will hit 34 points.

I think we may get a point against Chelsea but probably not but I would expect to get at least points from the last 4 games

I cant see 3 teams below us reaching 33 pints, i think as we are, we are safe, but cannot give in, just incase, but I honestly can't see Sunderland, Cardiff and at least one of the others reaching 33 points.

Villa yes 3 , a point v Southampton (but thats the best we'll get imo ),the Sunderland result will depend on whether they're already down if not then it could be messy .

as it stands doubt very much the bottom3 will get more than 33 and with their goal difference we would have to lose every game and ship some serious goals to go down but 1 more point just to be sure and I will be happy

Much better than 50-50. Most bookies say we have a 5% chance of being relegated and 95% chance of staying up. Would be nice to win a match soon though. I'd rather be us than any of the bottom 4.

Oh, I see. Could be close. I think we'd get relegated with 33 points. Or maybe stay up on goal difference. The last match of the season looks like it could be really interesting. Almost like a play-off final. Win and we play in Premiership; lose and we play in Championship. I can't really see us losing every single match though, although stranger things have happened. Bookies are confident enough to offer odds of up to 25-1, and I doubt many people are even taking those odds.

I think to us it looks too close to comfort, but for the bottom 3 it must look like a lost cause.

Hope I'm wrong but I don't see us beating anybody else this season. Recent performances are either OK at best or woeful and tactically Monk is pretty inept (Lita? Really?).
I reckon 2 points will be enough to see us safe. We could probably get at least a couple of draws so should be OK.
