We had to park the bus about a mile from West Hams ground yesterday according to Gerrard. Then when they got in the changing room was red hot with the heating wound up, then the pitch hadn't been cut or watered. Chelsea may park the bus but hope they have more class than WHU showed yesterday.
chelsea if at home would try to pull a lot of tricks but they are not at home... the only tricks available to mourinho is leg breaking and being snide, not coming out of dressing room, trying to wind up guys, diving etc. its not surprising that nobodys making such comments about city... which is why they are respected
I have obviously missed stuff over the years, though with my attention to detail hardly surprising, but are these sort of tricks commonplace? I sort of took it that with Gerrard mentioning it explicitally in the post match interview that it was a one off situation but guessing it aint. Wonder what the most common or worst acts of unsportsmanlikeness are outside of the stuff that goes on on the pitch?
I think it was 2006? Chelsea were playing Barca and completely soaked and ****ed their own field up. It was so bad. Think they lost that though? It was when Messi was just coming into his own.
It makes me laugh that with all their oil billions spent and their massive squad they still have to play this way. Its Jose's way though isnt it? I do know he is not Mr Cool (as the Chav loving media like you to think), I mean he nearly hit a ball boy until he thought better. His immediate reaction was very aggressive as he approached him! Dont like ball boys at Chelsea do they It is an embarrassment to English football when we have managers in our league that do that, the rest of the football world must've been laughing their heads off at him like we were Kudos to Jose for saying he wants Liverpool winning it though but he'll always be a **** no matter how much he tries to suck up to us
he's only saying that cos pelligrini made it hard for him at real. when we come to play him it'll be all biting and diving stuff plus dodgy pen comments
These types of tactics used to be fairly common back in the day but not really heard of nowadays, maybe its just normal so no one mentions it? I'd imagine its not normal for Gerrard to have mentioned it though. Can't say I really believe it but it doesn't hurt to play along "just in case" I don't believe a black cat crossing your path or walking under a ladder is bad luck but that doesn't mean I will do it should the situation arise. I won't go out of my way to avoid such a thing but if its simply a case of walking a couple of yards to the side then so be it
