Can't see many of out "top" players wanting to play for Mr. Motivator next year.

Remy will go to the Arse probably.
Krul to Juventus or some other sunnier climes.
Debuchy will have had enough.
Santon possibly back to Italy and his many admirers.
De Jong back to where he came from. Although he's pretty bad so we'll probably keep him.
Coloccini to Argentina.

Any more? Big overhaul needed. Then again, we'll probably be told Ryan Taylor will be back and he's like a new signing.

 

I think Newcastle will be relegated next year. Nobody gives a sh!t and with Ashley eyeing Rangers, it won't matter to him either.

So true but also so sad that out of a twenty ish man squad we can only highlight 6 players worth keeping.

Sissoko has the potential to be a Yaya Toure type player. The others mentioned i'd keep in a heartbeat.

On a side note - I'd make Tiote captain. Colo doesn't want to be here and Tiote was playing out of his skin [more than usual] when he had the armband.

We missed a trick not selling HBA and Santon when we had the chance.

 

Santon looked more hurt than anybody yesterday, he was really feeling the pain that the fans felt.

Really? I like him but Yaya is a different world to him. Hence they are not clambering all over us to sign him. He'd jump to and so would Ashley if the money was on offer. In terms of position he looks incapable of playing in the middle due to a lack of ability to go hard for 90mins.

 

If you believe the rumours you can make a case for our whole squad and management team going in the summer. Its going to be an interesting one but sadly unlikely to be a particularly good one. I think we will struggle next season and sadly unlike most teams where fans will get behind their team to fight relegation ours are so disallusioned ( i know i cant spell) that it could be curtains for us.
Please prove me wrong Mr Ashley. (Not holding my breath).
