Both teams look equally fragile, we just need something to go our way early on (or even late on, who cares?). Be it a penalty, one of their defenders slipping at a crucial moment, a goalkeeping howler, anything. I don't believe we can go and beat them purely on merit.
Certainly looks as though it's 3 from 4 teams now, despite the fact that there are still several more barely keeping the wolf from the door. Funnily enough I'm not sure next week is a must-win, I think it's more a must-not-lose. I can't see Cardiff recovering now, and I think Sunderland are also unlikely to put enough of a run together. This leaves us needing to keep ahead of Fulham and I think by maintaining the points gap with a draw on Saturday we will probably just about manage to do that.
That's exactly I think Fulham getting 6points from their last 4 is unlikely and I would not be at all surprised if we got a point from one of our four.Could even do Arsenal the state they are in.
I think you'll stay up. I was at your game yesterday, you were pretty bad, but the current bottom three are doomed. Unless we (Sunderland) remember how to win at home
No, you budgies have spectacularly blown it by sacking Hughton and replacing him with a random youth team coach for the most important 5 games of the season!
We need to do another poll now that we have a new manager. I wonder how different the results would be.
Iv'e voted no i'm afraid, not now they've sacked the manager with the biggest game ever coming up. Sorry...
Personally i wouldn`t trade places with Hull FC mate, we have Delia Smith in charge who selflessly saved our club where as you have a stereotypical old Arab megalomaniac hell bent on turning your club into a play thing franchise. Hull tigers Nearly as bad as that weirdo at Cardiff.
