OT - Tour of Flanders

As a lad i always wanted to be a grand tour / one day classics rider but watching those guys on the Koppenberg shows just how hard this race is and the level you would need to attain - legally or otherwise

Sagan lurking. Thomas looking good. Boonen in the mix. Could be a great finish

Hes gone for the beardy look. Its v 'on trend' according to the wife.

He's struggling to stay with the main group. He will never be a one day race rider unless it involves a time trial. Geraint Thomas is our man today hopefully for Sky

 

What a great race.

If Sagan wants to win this he'll have to do it on his own. Boasson-Hagen hanging on with him and Cancellara. Three greats together with 26kms to go

Vanmarke with him though and hes a better sprinter

 

Sagan has to go for it and he has. 16kms to go. Will he catch Cancellara?

 

Vanmarke will want revenge on Cancellara for beating him at the death at last years Paris-Roubaix

8kms to go Imaz - who you calling to win this ? Cancellara or Vanmarke? Or the 2 lads clinging on?

Ill go with Vanmarke, he looks completely p******d off with Cancellara

 

Agreed on Vanmaercke, Cancellara hasn't got it left in him to go away alone, tired.

I think Cancellara's been faking his fatigue. Hes just had a pop

Very hard race, best of the classics imho. Sanremo and Lombardia aren't up with the races of the North.
