EXACT same can be said about a football team............ if it pisses off the old fans, it will be offset etc...........

He seems to have made more money out of it than we will out of HCFC.

If the tiger name is such a big attraction, the investors will be queueing up to put money into his diesel marine genny business.

    Wrong.

It will erase the the old brand, and the market will rightly regard the new one as a tacky spiteful gimmick.

Totally agree.. i have been Supporting Hull City for alot of years, since my first game against Liverpool in the Fa Cup in the late 80's, and how far have we come. Some people dont appreciate were we was to were we are now. The Best Manager, Best team and Best Owners we have ever had. Stop all this name change pa lava and support the team for the whole of the 90 minutes in the game and the whole of the season instead of just at minute 19.04. Sometimes the support is woeful at the KC but most home grounds are like that now, that is why i prefer away days but Wembely here we come and i for one will be singing my heart out for the whole 90 minutes to get behind the lads. Now that's sly, Slapper - slipping in the sneaky name-change from 'Woolwich' to 'Woolich'......

Why the **** would anyone want to be like Arsenal?

Didn't they move frpm Woolwich to North London because it was nearer the underground stations which brought in big crowds, rather than out on a limb in SE18?

A shameful move- almost as shameful as conning their way into the 1st division just after WW1.

Not a club we want to emulate.

It's been a great season for us on the pitch. We've achieved the kind of things I thought were cloud cuckoo land when I started going 15 years ago. The thought of a game against Man United being cancelled due to us been in a cup semi-final felt very far away back then.

    They are.

No room for appeasement on the single issue of our club name.

Sometimes my 'fellow fans' - and I use the term liberally - genuinley shock me. How anyone would happily give up and shrug "it's only a name as long as we're in the Premier League" is literally beyond my comprehension.

And how anyone can think these odious owners are the best in our history.... Well from next season they technically will be cos that's year 1 in the history of that club.
