Both games were stinkers but it didn't take nearly as long to get back home today.

Quite a difference travelling across the water compared to going to Southampton.

281 miles and about 7 hours in the coach.

It was the goddam SECOND team!!!! No RVP/Rooney, rested another EIGHT who played vs Bayern!!! Thing is, they've barred the journos, the owner's got no eyes or ears, we're absolutely stuck. Nothing matters. Even boycott's will be reported which means more coverage for SD. Sports fcking Disease as far as I'm concerned.

If he had anything about him he'd be demanding money or walking. I don't buy the he's only here to pay off a debt.
How much is his debt to stack it against scraping premier survival?
The club has the ability to finish 7th, so we're looking at what? 10m between there and 17th in prize money alone. That over 8 seasons? Add on Advertising and TV money etc?
Ashley comes across as a bit simple at times, but surely he's not going to haemorrhage money out his back pocket to be drip fed it into his front?
Pardew needs to stop bitching about players being sold. It's a known business plan and everyone knew Cabaye was off in January.
He needs to manage better. How can you spend two years alienating players like Gosling and Marveaux then expect them to bend over backwards for you at the drop of a hat?
He needs to recognise players like Shola are past it, so stop carting him on.
And he needs to stop playing people out of position.
Meetings must consist of Pardew saying "I need a player for this position" and Mike saying "Can someone in the squad play there?" "Yes" "You don't need a player then"

Play the players in their best position then demand players where we're short or walk.

Too much money needs to be spent in the summer now. We genuinely need 11 new quality players to stand still in the league.

Horseshit, they just don't give a ****. I'm bored of our fans ignoring the obvious trying to lay at all one mans door. Get ****ing real, its takes more than one man to serve up this ****. Pardew has been **** and deserves to go. But kidding yourself these players are anywhere near good enough is foolhardy. You find out more about the character of your players in tough times than when things are going well.

Then you have the "support" of out owner.

Its one big ****ing mess. No one deserves excused.

Wanting Pardew out is all well and good. I've felt since last season's Sunderland and Liverpool games that he shouldn't have avoided the sack.
But the only measurement he'll be judged on by Ashley is the balance sheet first and last. Humiliating defeats are irritating to us but no big deal to the owner. Now we've got the majority of paying fans sitting in silence it seems, and just putting up with whatever's served whilst renewing their season tickets. It's a dream plan, as long as the money keeps rolling in. I sadly give due praise to Ashley for his choice of us to advertise SD and make profits from. He's doing it with great effect.

I won't set foot at St James' as long as Ashley is owner. But who he'll sell us we'll have to wait and see ...

Money will probably be spent in the summer but it will mean many sales. Bad times ahead next season - I can feel it being a real struggle.

Mr Tiote is looking like an oracle as he's been saying for years that we will sell all of our best players and get relegated.
