I get the feeling that the injuries have taken there tolll on the lad, and he is just not the player he was.
If he could regain anywhere near the form that he once had, and could say injury free (not likely at safc) he would be a good player to have.
No thanks, he wasn't that good when he did play regular now with the injuries he'd be like an even more crocked version of Mensah only difference being Mensah would probably play more games. All he is after is another team to come in for him to continue his treatment, bad idea from the off lads.
missing the point lads, pay as you play, if he dont play no pay, siuts me, we need strenght in dept, and if he costs us nowt what is the problem.shouldnt have let Bolo go
leave him well alone we need 25 fit players.we wasted 3 subs nearly every game last season on the likes of steed... zendon... mensa... i think it is vital that all the 25 man squad can last 90mins
Thought I had already posted on this? Even if he is fit MU must be moving him on as he would be taking up a squad place, if he breaks down your squad is a player down.
I'd give it a go, depending on what state he's in now. Pay for play not a bad option. Our medical staff must be the best in the prem cos last year it was like being in M*A*S*H for them. We can re-build him! x
Not a cat in hells chance would I take him on ANY contract. We do not want another crock who disrupts the team not adds to it. Think Mensah but even less fit? NO! NO! NO! NO!
Whatever makes you think that? just fed up with seeing crocked footballers messing up our team planning in the last 2 years. I love John Mensah but he is a negative influence now not a positive one and its all to do with his body not being upto the task. Hargreaves was a fantastic footballer but his body is wrecked beyond all repair now to play top flight football. 2 games in every 10 isnt team building its suicide.
Michael Owen is on Pay as you Play for United - 80k per performance - regardless of how long he's on hte pitch apparently.. I thought Hargreaves looked an excellent player and on a pay as you play may be worthwhile but he seems to be getting worse injury wise and could be costly as he picks them up easily (i.e. he starts a game and gets injured after 10 minutes - gets his pay and costs us a Substitution in the early stages of a game) - It'd be a no for me
Pay as you play deal? Im up for that. He'll play so little itll cost less than a million. Good bit of profile raising for our club, and could pass something on to the younger players (Most likely an infection with his health). Sods law dictates that Man Utd's world class medical team fail to bring him back to fitness, so our bungling "1 cripple a week" team would probably miraculously sort him out.
