No one deserved to win today, but at least our gang put in a shift and Brown was in part reponsible for that. With FL about to roll over and "magnanimously" agree to allow Cellino to take over, we might finally be moving forward at last with some money & the ability to buy to talent. Keep the faith boys and girls. MOT
To be totally honest today's result doesn't matter one bit now. It would seem after today's official announcement regarding Cellino that half this lot won't be playing next season, some BIG changes ahead and hopefully we can all look forward to next season with genuine optimism.
I reckon the manager and players knew the result of the appeal before the match, that's why there was plenty of effort and commitment on display, in fact more in this 90 minutes than in the previous 18 games. Maybe a last ditch attempt to keep McDermott in a job. Why else would they finally put some effort in?
