Why is it that whenever I hear the tannoy saying "The fourth official has said there will be a minimum of...." I start to feel like we'll concede? Awful, awful, awful.
Not sure you can really blame Gazzaniga for that. If he hadn't gone for the ball Dzeko would have scored anyway. Silva's miles offside for their second, I have no idea how that's been allowed. Disappointing to concede those two at the end, thought we'd played really well but with City's players they're always liable to do that. Not like losing this game means anything really.
I feel absolutely robbed. Terrible officiating! 3 or 4 yards offside and the commentators have the cheek to say it was close!
How stupid is the commentary team? It is so wrong that a goal that far off side can be allowed to stand.
Wasn't just me then. I thought I was seeing things with regard to Dzeko backheel, so intent were BT Sport (and in particular the utterly useless Ian Darke) to judge whether or not Silva was offside based on Toure's pass, rather than Dzeko's backheel.
Our third string keeper, with little first team experience cannot be expected to be a miracle worker against a team like City. Fonte has been at fault at times but he doesn't start every match under a cloud. Give him some support!
