That would be great. Perhaps if he could score in the last match of the season, against ManU, that might actually come true, because he will have played his last match for Saints, which would then leave the door open for a return to Brazil.
If Guly scores, it means he's playing so I hope I don't see him score... even though secretly I'd be pleased.
OK getting pumped for today. Lets get at them from the start. Get an early goal and anything could happen. COYR!
If we score early I'll fear a City onslaught from then on. In a weird way I'd probably feel more confident if we went into the break at 0-0.
If they don't score by half time the crowd will get nervous, which might help us. Then a quick succession of goals from Jack Cork, JWP, and Luke Shaw.
Steady on; I thought it was only me that became "pumped". I thought you lot were more "stoked". I appreciate that I have no copyright on this but I have been pumped before games for many years now. However, if that's the way you're really feeling, I feel honoured that I'm no longer in the minority. Perhaps we should have a poll. Vin
And they can't be expected to know that his brother cut my hair at his barbers in Bedford Place. I didn't walk out looking like Mick though, and it didn't improve my game much either.
Just been on a Man City forum. Amazingly, they are all predicting a win for Man City. Cheeky blighters.
Its a wet drizzly morning here in Manchester - i bet they still water the pitch at HT though. Cant wait to get into the stadium - have a good feeling about today, unlike my son next to me here who is not at all positive . COYR !
I think many of us view this as a real banana skin game. Southamptons pressing style is a real problem for City and really knocks us out of our stride. Hopefully our greater need will result in a narrow win but really wouldn't part with any cash betting on it With Aguero out it should be more or less the same X1 that started at the emirates Hart Zabaleta Kompany Demichellis Clichy Fernandinho Yaya Nasri Silva Navas Dzeko Maybe Negredo for Dzeko or Milner for Navas but formation should be the same with one up top
By chance I've found myself in Manchester for the weekend. Any one know which pubs are for the away fans?
Might be worth playing Rodriguez more central and targeting Demichellis. Think Rickie will have a tough time against Kompany, so Rodriguez may be a better option. Would be an interesting battle to see Toure against Wanyama!
Not many near the ground but you'll be welcomed in any pubs in the City centre, try the bulls head on London rd opposite Piccadilly station then get the tram from there to the ground
