    Good Morning Everyone,

We will know by 6.oopm tonight whether Cellino has won his appeal, and whether he will be the new owner of Leeds Utd.

If this is the case, do you think we'll be looking for a new Manager by 6.01pm?

The YEP has revealed that in mid January GFH made some bizarre demands and threats towards McDermotts tenure at Elland Road. These included :-

    i) The submission of a report explaining the club’s form and “technical shortfalls” between a 3-0 win at Doncaster Rovers on December 14 and a 1-0 defeat to Leicester City on January 18.

ii) A demand that McDermott allow Alrayes and Leeds chairman Salah Nooruddin to approve his “strategy, list of players and squad formation” for every game, at least 24 hours before kick-off.

iii) A written analysis outlining “technical assessment, performance of players and forward planning for discussion with the board” after each of United’s fixtures.

iv) The memo was drawn up by Alrayes in the days after Leeds lost 6-0 at Sheffield Wednesday on January 11, the club’s heaviest league defeat for more than 50 years.

Maybe Brian knows the end is nigh, and wants to take a swipe at GFH before he is revealed of his duties, hence the YEP being in the know?

Morning Elland and all. Some revelation that in yep. I actually haven't much problems with an employees performances being assessed providing those doing it know what they are at. How stupid that alrayes, Patel, Haigh or whatever gets to check McD team selections. They barely know what shape of ball is used in a match. What a bunch of muppets. Does anyone know if we're playing a match this weekend btw

Morning all we're on Sky Sports tomorrow

I too don't have a problem in employers asking for an assessment but done in the correct manner and not expecting one that would encroach on the time the manager should be spending with the players.

Just another farce to add to the list

Don't know if we should be happy with that or cringe with what the world might see.

You never know... Cellino might get his way and if he does I would lock the players in the dressing room 30 minutes before kick off with him and let him loose with the team talk

Morning all. So by 6pm we'll know. I'd imagine that BMD will still be in charge for tomorrow's game and that Cellino will be chairman. However, if our performance tomorrow is anything lik as bad as it has been, BMD will be leaving after tomorrow's game. That said, if Cellino is chairman and the team play the way they can rather than the way they have been, who knows?

Me, I'm going for Cellino to be chairman, BMD to be Manager, Leeds to win 3-1, & Red Rum in the National. What's not to like???

Morning all, looking forward to finally having an answer on this, it's been a hell of a long week in that respect.

I don't see much of a problem in the board wanting an assessment of the players going forwards, but its outrageous that they should try and get involved in a managers team selections. The only reason they should want to know performance information is to weigh up whether a poorly performing player has any value to sell and strengthen. It's a bit much to ask that after every game though.

I think BMD know's that he isn't going to get much if any chance under new ownership who have the cash to pay him off, it's likely people will be looking for a clean start. That being said, I'd be very shocked if he wasn't in charge for tomorrow's game.

Speaking of which I'll get a match thread up. It won't have the pretty pictures at the minute, will have to edit them in later. Don't have photoshop on this machine! <laugh>

Good morning from an overcast Bardsey hope this is not an omen
I hope MC gets the nod as for the bizarre demands placed on B M by the board I would suggest it was their way of trying to get him to resign WITHOUT costing further money .Lets face it he wont get a job paying a tenth of what we are paying him so hes hardly likely to resign is he?
I feel that too much emphasis has been placed on the current upheaval Brian is clueless and leaderless Im afraid to say sorry BM but you can only judge on results and aquistions only one has been any good Smith

Id say you're absolutely spot on Boggers with three out of four. Not a cats chance in hell of Leeds winning 3-1 though <whistle>

Cheers Eire. You know the best bit about Cellino as Manager if he kicked BMD out, we could employ Might as our translator & blame him if things ever went wrong.

Be afraid Mighty, be very afraid!!!!

    Morning 60,

Professional players get paid a lot of money to concentrate their efforts on the pitch. Captains and Managers get paid a lot of money to ensure they do

The laughable thing is that GFH and the muppets they allowed in charge clearly don't have the knowledge to interpret anything about the football report McD would have been writing.

But theretically the emphasis would have been to assess if the manager knew what was happening and how to turn things round - standard question if you ask me. Maybe that's what led to our loan acquisitions and a massive increase of our wage bill <laugh>. This lot really are a bunch of muppets.

It's true, they do. But in light of some pretty harsh board demands and the financial uncertainty I think he has to be afforded some sympathy. That's not to say our recent awful form can wholly be blamed on that. Brian is responsible for Hunt / Kebe / Stewart etc

If Cellino gets in and if takeover done quickly and if we scramble a win for safety quickly, thats a lot of ifs, Id let McD see out the season. If not a marked improvement though, I wouldn't be happy with McD overseeing the summer rebuilding if there is any
