On Monday night the team got booed off at half time.

Leading up to Half time and in the last minute we had a free-kick which we pansied about with and ended up with a throw in in our own half and then had the ball on the right wing with around 20 or 30 seconds to go.

WHY THE f**k did they not stick the ball in the box to see what happens? Pretty much like West Ham did with their second goal.

I honestly believe that, if we had stuck it in the box and had a shot which had missed, the crowd would've clapped them off the field. Instead, as I could see from 100 yards away in the North Stand, they passed it backwards and forwards for 30 seconds as if we were winning the game!

I love Gus and the way his team plays football, but when there's 30 seconds to go till hjalf time and you're losing just stick it in the box man!!

I can honestly say that I've never booed any Sunderland player, ever, but I hear where you are coming from. This passing football is great but at 2-0 down with minutes to go, get the ****er in the box where it may do some damage. You're never going to score in your own half of the field, the goal is up the other end.

As you know Marcus, I'm one of the biggest objectors to the booing, but I did think Monday there was a huge majority that really stuck with the boys, whether it was just around me or not I can't comment.

Now that we've accepted our fate, maybe the boo boys either stay away, or we try and make the last few games a carnival atmosphere celebrating our return to the division in which we are always Champions...

Didn`t Gus himself say something about the players making the right decisions on the pitch?

Can`t remember exactly what it was but I`m sure he said something to that effect.

In that situation common sense should tell them what needs to be done but, perhaps they`re just thick.

If someone ask me to make a decision about how to build a bridge, I couldn't do it, cos I', not an architect.

The booing may have been directed at the funky chickens mate "HOWARD" and the un-awarded nailed on penalty, that was my first take on it, but we have to accept the frustration factor which has built up with our continuing, terrible home form, and the culprits responsible.

Not mine mate - the lads around me (North Stand lower) were barracking the players for not loading the ball into the box with less than 30 seconds left. They booed Webb as well but they got right on the players back for the backwards and sideways passing 30 yards from the penalty area with so little time left at 1-0 in the first half.
