    I always enjoy the fact that the commentators say local lad. He was born in St Albans.

    OK, his family moved to Hampshire and he was picked up by Bournemouth. But he was at the Saints Academy by the time he was 12, and he used to watch Saints from the terraces as a fan, not Bournemouth AFC. He loves this club every bit as much as MLT or Franny Benali.

    Yeah Hammond was awesome, was annoyed at how he was tossed aside after promotion. I hope for his sake that it doesnt happen again.

    Hammond's goal against Leeds and that knee slide...happy, happy days. We outgrew a lot of players, but I was particularly sad about him.

    Stuart Pearce to be confirmed as Nottingham Forest manager.

    Pearce in France tonight covering PSG v Chelsea and will then travel back to finalise terms tomorrow.

    He'll take charge in the summer, with Gary Brazil finishing the season for Forest.

    I am going to Leicester v Brighton next Tuesday so I hope the foxes aren't promoted this weekend. I will be getting (hopefully) players lounge passes, so I'll be making a b-line for Deano!!!

    I'm going to get a photo of him with a piece of paper that says "I love the Chocolate Box Kid"
