Does anyone have any clue how many we have? 15k is my guess. Surely the club will have to give us the fans some incentives to stay on next year. I've been a STH for 15 years, personally I'm looking at becoming a member then just pick the games i want to see. Thoughts?
I think we have about that maybe more. I will continue to buy a season ticket even if we get relegated. But will have to wait and see the price...
I'll be interested to see how they price it, more games but less quality. Might be an opportunity to get a new seat.
Anybody fill in the "Season Ticket Survey" that the Club emailed out in February? In the free format bit I indicated that a price reduction of 60% would appropriate if we went down - at the time it was tongue in cheek!
The Club's marketing lot are doing some forward planning and making this offer all current season ticket holders - "This offer is open until 5pm on Friday 9th May 2014.The reduced rate represents a discount of £100 from the 2013/14 Early Bird Season Ticket prices and entitles fans to attend the following matches in the 2014/15 season: (i) 19 home Premier League matches if the Club is in the Premier League;or (ii) 23 home Football League Championship matches if the Club is in the Football League Championship, plus the first two cup matches of the season, where the Club is drawn at home. The deadline according to the email I received is 29th April 2014
Yeah I've just got my email telling me about what the prices are if I want to keep my seat... looks like the club expect us to go down..
The way I see they should have done the ticket prices for season ticket holders is by default there a no Cat A or B teams in the Championship otherwise they wouldn't be there. So on general sale there will only be the equivalent of a Cat C teams, so the most they will charge is the same price for a CatC in general sale this season, hence the Season tickets will be £4 less per match than a Cat C this season. Obviously if we play a Premier team in a Cup than prices can go CatA/B. I also think that a policy should be made to accommodate away supporters (to keep up the attendance levels), with the Putney End being priced (for everyone) at the same price the away team is going to charge our support for their tickets, with a Maximum of 3 blocks of the Putney given to away support, no more neutral end. This might encourage Fulham fans to go to more away games. The rest of the Putney could be done on the same way the Fulham away season ticket used to work, on a pay by each game for your match ticket out of your account or card. Fans in the Putney could end up paying less for a season ticket than the Hammersmith or if that is not workable, make the Putney the only place for Concession Season tickets. Just some ideas if we go down.
I note the £100 is "a thank you for your loyalty". They make a quid quo pro of more matches in the Championship, but obviously no top flight teams. The Seat Hold Deadline is 29th April, i.e. with Stoke and Palace still to play. Not sure that its that clever to release seats tickets then - Likely to upset a few fans. However, we still may renew all ours.
I renewed today, thought I'd get it out the way... I realise I may save a few quid by getting individual tickets if we are in the Championship but part of the convenience of having a ticket is not having to mess about booking the tickets every week, also I like where I sit and the people who sit around me. I was quite surprised with the £100 off. I was expecting a freeze or max £50 reduction.
Looking at the cost, my ticket (Hammy) is was £449. Next season that will get me 23 league games and, according to the e-mail I received, the first 2 cup games. That works out at £18 a match which isn't too bad even for the championship.
Yeah, I think it's a great deal as well TMHAF and renewed mine today. Picked up a "Season Holder Pack" when I was at the Ticket Office and don't know if there's any significance but Scotty Parker is the player splashed over the front.
