Best and ranger released

Just got text saying Best and Ranger released is that true? I'd have kept Best and let Shola go

 

Neither would be released as they both have sell on value.

We'd probably be able to get £2.5m for Best and £1m for Ranger, no point in paying off their contractsand getting rid of them for free.

 

doubt it seeing as we could rinse somebody for £3-4m for either of them. ranger being a young english centre forward being reason alone for his over inflated price tag.

i think ashley has made it quite clear that he will be trying to maximise profit at every opportunity (and rightly so if this non story were in fact real...)

 

I think you are right some disinformation floating about,more than likely they are surplus and put up for sale

Oh, put up for sale, yeah they probably are, eventhough Best is better than Shola, Shola will never leave the toon, he's like a disease! We are fed up of Ranger's awful attitude and that will be the reason for him being sold.

With you saying released in the title I thought you meant for free...not sold.

Thought we were asking for £4M for Best. Don't think Millwall/Ranger deal will happen, was talking to Millwall fan who reckons they have a wage cap of £7K a week.

I'm fed up with his inability to put the ball in the net. i think ranger was given plenty of opportunities last season (as a impact sub maybe) but these are the sort of chances he should of been taking (hernandez last season) ok he was a proven good young player but he took his chances when coming off the bench and cemented a place in the first team. I dont think we can carry ranger much longer hoping that he ends up good.

Appart from selling him, i think he should be going out on loan to a championship team and see how he progresses.

As for best, his stock is higher than when he joined and if they have plans to bring in another 2 or 3 strikers then selling him is maybe the best option. I personally would like to keep him as a back up striker as i think he did fairly well last season when called upon.

 

Ranger should be called JIGSAW 'cos he goes to pieces in the box!
