Have copied this from the Mackem board but what would our strongest 11 be if only picking from players that we've had since we won promotion.

    I'd go for:

    Krul

    Debuchy, Colo, Williamson, Enrique

    Tiote, Anita

    Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Ba

    Carroll

Subs: Harper, Haidara, Mbiwa, Sissoko, Gouffran, Jonas, Cisse

Is this just on the basis of their best performances, or overall performance for the club? I only ask because HBA seems to have made your starting 11 somehow <yikes> Mbiwa has also made your bench <laugh> Not fit to lace Perchinos boots.

    --------------Harper-----------------
    Debuchy---Colo---Willo---Enrique
    ----------------Tiote-----------------
    ----------Cabaye--Nolan------------
    Barton-----------------------------Remy
    ----------------Ba----------------

A very experienced side. Special mentions for Jonas who was fantastic in our first two seasons back up, Anita who has done little wrong, Leon Best who did great for us, Harper never let us down and Raylor who has always been good at key times.

    Worst team:

    ----------------Eliott-------------------
    -----MYM----Campbell----Saylor------
    ------Gosling-Amallfitano--Smith-------------
    ---------------Ireland------------------
    ----Obertan---Shola---Kuqi-----------

Over the course of a season, I'd probably go for Jonas with his 2009 legs rather than HBA: you never get enough consistency out of Benni.

Can't believe I forgot about Nolan and Barton <doh>

Barton would be in my first 11 and Nolan would make my bench. Forgot about Perchy too so as you say he'd take over from MYM on the bench.

How many goals a season do you reckon we'd get with that forward line?

    Pardew would be optimistic:

Obertan - "he has pace to burn and will bring some much needed sharpness to our side"

Kuqi - "I’ve always admired him as a player... he’s a physical presence"

Shola - "He is a top top player" "He could be Prime Minister with his personality" "He’s as good a striker as I’ve ever worked with. And I’ve worked with a few – Zamora, Tevez, Harewood, Sheringham."

Perhaps he's not the most realistic though...

Aye I remember the comments well, got a bit carried away with emotion after Shola had a rare good day. I think he had the mask on too which Pards thought was heroic. The Fenham Eusebio is as good as any when on song - ask Barca <laugh>

Ben Arfa's mind has f***ed off somewhere, or he'd be in for Nolan. Saylor was immense for a period, before the lengthy lay-off which seems to have finished the lad :/
